It’s our favorite time of year again- The One Room Challenge! I have been so excited to reveal my project this year that I have had selected for quite some time. This year I will be making over my…..pantry! This is going to be such a fun space to transform and I have so many ideas for it that I have been saving for years.
Primary Bathroom Makeover- One Room Challenge: Week 8- The Big Reveal!
The big day is finally here and after several late nights- my bathroom makeover is officially complete! I am so in love with how it turned out- it’s even better than what I was picturing in my head! I definitely feel like my overall ideas and vision for the space transformed over the 8 weeks as I would complete more and more. Coincidentally it really took until the final week for me to hone in on the final, complete look and from there, I couldn’t work fast enough! Somehow I feel like even though this is the smallest room I’ve ever tackled for the One Room Challenge, it was the most labor-intensive of them all! I don’t think I ever want to see a paintbrush again for quite a while! Even though it was a ton a work, I am so pleased with the end result and can’t wait to now enjoy a beautiful finished bathroom! Let’s take a look at where I started, just 8 weeks ago below!
Primary Bathroom Makeover- One Room Challenge: Week 7- The Final Countdown!
Week SEVEN is here and the bathroom could not be more of a mess of ten projects going at once! I can’t believe I have just ONE WEEK to go to get all of this done (trying not to panic over here!). I will definitely be using the full week and be one of the last minute Sunday posters this week. Even though I have so much left to do, we also made SO much progress this week. Take a look below!
Primary Bathroom Makeover- One Room Challenge: Week 6- The Countertop of My Dreams!
Well the star of the show has arrived and the bathroom is finally starting to transform! Without a doubt, these new countertops have been what I was most excited for in this makeover and they did not disappoint! I can’t thank Counter Culture enough for making them happen so quickly and perfectly! Now it’s time for me to get the rest of the bathroom in order (as you can see from these photos with a million half-done projects everywhere, including the vanity base!).
Primary Bathroom Makeover- One Room Challenge: Week 5- Paint Color Selections
This week was all about starting to paint and selecting paint colors for the walls, trim, and vanity! I wanted the perfect slightly moody mid-tone colors to coordinate with the feature wallpaper (still haven’t announced the winner and want to surprise you; thankfully all the finalists had the same color scheme- blues and greens!). Initially I was planning on painting all the trim, walls, ceiling one color, but I am kind of changing my mind now.

Here I am trying not to panic that this is the official HALFWAY mark of the 2022 One Room Challenge. I am really going to need to kick it into high gear this last month but I am ready! This week I’m sharing some updates about my plans for the plumbing fixtures and lighting in the space.
