Fun + Spooky Kid's Halloween Snack Board
These kid’s snack boards are always my favorites to put together and John Woodford was thrilled because it has all his favorite things! PB+J spiders, hot dog mummies, clementine pumpkins, spider web guacamole, ghost bananas, mini English muffin mummy pizzas, and more! Really any of these individually would be super fun for kid’s lunches or dinners too and they’re all super easy! Feel free to mix, match, and customize it to your liking. You definitely don’t have to include every ingredient and there’s lots of different ways make this your own! Find all the ingredients and instructions for assembling this one below!
Sweet + Salty Spooky Halloween Snack Mix
I have no idea why but I believe this is my first ever “snack mix” recipe here on the blog. I have been dying to do a fun and spooky Halloween snack mix so here it is! This one features a bunch of my favorite Halloween snacky foods from Trader Joe’s and Target and is the perfect mix of sweet and salty! It has chips, pretzels, popcorn, mini peanut butter cups, m&ms, candy corn, chocolate covered chex, and more! This is such a perfect and easy snack to whip up for a party OR make for little Halloween treat bags or favors! You won’t be able to stop eating it! Find all the ingredients and instructions for making it below!
Easy Pantry Pizzas
I wanted to share an easy and favorite recipe that you can easily make using whatever leftovers you may have in your fridge and pantry! There are a couple of options for the crust. I used Trader Joe’s pre-made flatbread pizza crust (available in the bread section). However, Trader Joe’s also has great pizza dough, but it will require an extra step when preparing these pizzas. If you don’t have pizza dough available, you can use any kind of French bread, baguette, flatbread, or naan that you have!
Sausage, Kale, Tortellini + Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup | Easy Trader Joe's Dinner Recipe
If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that I love shopping at Trader Joe’s especially for quick and easy dinner options. I’ve shared lots of Trader Joe’s recipes here but by far my most popular is my quick, 2-ingredient tortellini and roasted red pepper tomato soup. I decided to do a new twist on this recipe and bulk it up a bit by adding sausage and kale as well as diced onion and some extra diced tomatoes. I didn’t think it could get much better than my original recipe, but this one tops it for me!

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much we accomplish in a year and we feel like we should have done more. I really do love sharing with all of you and it still makes my day to hear that you read my post or tried one of my DIY’s, recipes, or tips! So without further ado, here’s my 5 most popular posts of 2018!
Fun + Festive Halloween Cheeseboard
Halloween is just a week away and every year I love to make as many fun recipes as possible leading up to the holiday! So over the next week, I’m bringing you not one, but two, different takes on festive Halloween snack boards! This board is more along the lines of a traditional cheeseboard with the ingredients although I did make a few unexpected sweet additions! I tried to keep the overall color palette Halloween themed with plenty of pops of orange and lots of dark purple, chocolate, and bits of white. The end product is super bright + playful (not to mention tasty) and so perfect for celebrating Halloween!
Summer Garden Veggie + Pesto Pizza
Summer is the perfect time for homemade pizza piled high with fresh produce from the garden! This summer pizza features fresh roasted vegetables on top of a garlic butter pesto sauce base and smothered with plenty of melty cheese. I also added some bits of fresh basil on top for extra flavor and color. Overall this pizza is super light, flavorful, and bright and so perfect for an easy summer dinner! We got all our vegetables and basil from the local farmer's market and I used Trader Joe's fresh garlic and herb pizza dough which makes at-home pizza making so easy and delicious!
The Best Trader Joe's Beauty Products Haul: Part I
Good ol' TJ's is one of my favorite places to grab groceries, fresh flowers, and my dog's favorite treats, but who knew they would become my go-to for some amazing and affordable beauty products too?! I usually go to Trader Joe's at least once a week, sometimes more, and over the past couple of weeks I've picked up a few beauty items each visit. So far, I've loved everything I have tried and will definitely be buying all of these again (especially since everything is under $10)! Unfortunately Trader Joe's doesn't sell online, so I can't link these but be sure to check out your local Trader Joe's for these items! Some of them are newer and are just being rolled out in stores, so if they're not available in your area yet- they will be soon! I've given a quick review and rundown of each item below. Have you tried any of these products yet? Which are your favorites?
