Sweet + Salty Spooky Halloween Snack Mix
I have no idea why but I believe this is my first ever “snack mix” recipe here on the blog. I have been dying to do a fun and spooky Halloween snack mix so here it is! This one features a bunch of my favorite Halloween snacky foods from Trader Joe’s and Target and is the perfect mix of sweet and salty! It has chips, pretzels, popcorn, mini peanut butter cups, m&ms, candy corn, chocolate covered chex, and more! This is such a perfect and easy snack to whip up for a party OR make for little Halloween treat bags or favors! You won’t be able to stop eating it! Find all the ingredients and instructions for making it below!

note: I added the entire containers/bags of all these ingredients and it made a HUGE batch (like 2-3 freezer bags full) so adjust amounts according to how much you want to make! If you’re having a party or putting together treat bags full, making the big batch would be perfect1
M&M’s Halloween Mix
Trader Joe’s Maple + Sea Salt Kettle Corn
Trader Joe’s Ghost + Bat Chips
Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s Cereal
Trader Joe’s Mini Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Pirate’s Booty Boos + Bites Halloween Shapes
10oz Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
Peanut Butter Chex Cereal (any kind of chex will work though!)
In a microwave safe bowl, add the entire bag of your chocolate melting wafers and cook according to package instructions in the microwave (about 30 seconds at a time). Stir after cooking and repeat until it is melted and creamy.
Toss melted chocolate in a large bowl with chex ceral, tossing to coat completely.
Spread mixture out on a parchment paper lined tray or cookie sheet. Immediately sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles and candy eyeballs before the chocolate dries. Let sit until chocolate has hardened, then break up into bite sized pieces.
Next add all your other ingredients, one by one to a giant mixing bowl. Save the ghost and bat chips for the top as they are the most delicate. Carefully mix up the mixture (easiest to just do with your hands but you can also use a spoon) until everything is pretty evenly dispersed throughout.
Spread out on a tray or serve in a large bowl! Keep in an airtight container when done and it should keep for at least 1-2 weeks!
