My Top 5 Posts of 2018
It’s so fun to look back over the past year and see all the fun projects I tried and shared here on the blog. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much we accomplish in a year and we feel like we should have done more. I’ve found this year that looking back through photos or posts from the previous year helps remind me that I really did accomplish a lot and should be proud of the work I’ve done. I really do love sharing with all of you and it still makes my day to hear that you read my post or tried one of my DIY’s, recipes, or tips! So without further ado, here’s my 5 most popular posts of 2018! Enjoy!

A round up of all my favorite newfound beauty products from Trader Joe’s including a description and review of each item. I still use all these items and still love them! I rarely post about beauty products but I’m not surprised y’all liked this post because we all love Trader Joe’s! Even better most of these products are under $5! Find the full post here.
I love that this was one of my top posts because it was definitely one of my favorites to put together! It makes such an amazing presentation and is an easy way to feed a crowd for breakfast or brunch. I hope to continue doing more unique boards throughout this year too. Find the full post here.
I’ve been sharing these simmering scent tutorials for several years, but this year they were more popular than ever! I set up build-your-own potpourri stations a few times at the Amsden and other local shops during the fall and early holiday season which really got a lot of customers hooked on these and wanting to recreate them again! I tweaked my usual autumn scent to make it more holiday themed by switching a few ingredients. Find the full post here.
All of my organizing posts were popular this year but this one was the most read by far. I included lots of tips and ideas for organizing every part of your bathroom whether you have a ton of storage options or very little! Find the full post here.
One of my favorite parts of our Creative Collective Meet + Mingle event was designing + putting together this balloon arch backdrop. This was my first time attempting any kind of balloon arch, but I was surprised at how easy it was and how quickly I seemed to get the hang of the process. Like most of my DIY projects, I read several tutorials online and then kind of combined the easiest steps from each (because I don't have any time for complicated projects!). Find the full post here.
