The Easiest 3 Ingredient Trader Joe's Dinner

This is one of my all time favorite recipes that I’ve shared a lot of different versions of. Any combination of Trader Joe’s Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup and Tortellini is delicious! I added kale to this one and topped with Parmesan Crisps and shaved Parmesan (also from Trader Joe’s). This is truly the coziest, perfect winter meal! DIY Vintage Christmas Village Makeover

My favorite DIYs are those that give new life to outdated decorations and vintage pieces. I have had this outdated Christmas village sitting in my garage for years and always have wanted to figure out a way to include it in my Christmas decor as I love the tradition and idea of village sets. This year, while searching for some Christmas decor ideas for the playroom, I had the idea to paint the set in bright colors to match the room. This was so easy and fun and such a great way to update and reuse these old sets. Whether you go with bright and bold colors or just paint it solid white, there’s so many fun ways to update the classic pieces. Check out the before photos and instructions below!

My Most Popular Posts of the Year 2020

I always love getting to look back on what your all’s favorite posts of the year were and putting this post together each year! Even though most would consider 2020 a pretty crappy year, it’s encouraging to look back and see how much was accomplished despite it all and how much fun we had! There were lots of makeovers, DIYS, recipes, big announcements, fixer uppers and fun!

One of my goals is to make this a truly authentic space (even though I hate having to use that word) and for this reason you will see very little sponsored content on my blog, unless I feel I can fit it in with what I already post. Everything I share is something I WANT to share and enjoy doing, whether it’s an outfit, home decor, or recipe- these are all things I am actually wearing, making, and doing, start to finish, and would do whether I was sharing on a blog or not! I appreciate all of you for following along, sharing, and showing your support this year- it means so much to me! Thank you and here’s to 2021!

Holiday Home Tour 2020: Playroom

Welcome to the most fun room of the house- our Christmas playroom! I have had so much fun decorating this space for holidays and can’t wait to continue to in the future. I got a pastel pink tree for the room and even did a little DIY makeover on an old Christmas village set too for the mantle! I love filling up our book wall with all our Christmas children’s books as well as the music corner with our vintage Christmas albums!
