As soon as September hits (and let's be honest a few weeks before too) I'm ready to deck my house out with all things cozy + autumn themed!  It's my favorite time of year kicking off what feels like a marathon of seasonal decorating.  The holidays give me an excuse to freshen up each room with some new decor and rearrange a bit too.  I love the refreshed and super cozy feeling it brings to my home each year.  Most of my decor is a collection of vintage or thrifted items that I have gathered over the years.  Sometimes I leave thrifted/vintage items as-is and sometimes I alter them slightly with a little DIY or upcycling.  You can easily DIY some of my fall decor items like my vintage "gather" fall landscape painting (tutorial here), or my gold leaf garland (tutorial here).  I also like shopping for new decor at stores like Home Goods, Target, At Home, and Hobby Lobby.  I find that my favorite decor pieces each year are unexpected things that are more natural and simple fall items like pinecones, acorns, leaves, and wheat.  Something as simple as a glass vase or vintage bottle filled with a few pieces of wheat or a dried branch can turn into the most stunning fall display.  I've linked up all my decor pieces above + below, as well as a list of my favorite fall decor picks now in-stores for you to shop!  Enjoy!

xoxo
