Fall Home Tour 2021: Welcoming & Warm Vintage Cottage Style Entryway
I’m starting off this years fall home tour with my autumn entryway! If you’ve been following me for the past few months, then you know I just recently redesigned this entire area for the 2021 One Room Challenge. I really wanted this area to be welcoming and cozy but also very unique!
Once I had completed The One Room Challenge, I realized I had even more to look forward to with all of the new possibilities that lay ahead for seasonal decor in my newly designed space! There’s nothing like a redesigned room to provide inspiration and new life to existing seasonal pieces that were packed in boxes awaiting their fall debut. From the colors in the vintage stair runners, to the pattern in the floral wallpaper, I knew these and so many other new details would perfectly compliment my fall decor.
As many of you know, I like to decorate my home using a mix of vintage, new, and custom DIY pieces. Check out the detail shots of both areas below to see how I used a mix of these items to style my entryway for fall. I will also link as many exact items as possible for y’all to shop, but since many pieces are vintage or one-of-a-kind, I will link a few similar options too! I hope you gain some inspiration for your fall decor and Happy Fall Y’all!
My Amazon Fall Decor Favorites
It doesn’t get easier or more convenient to shop for home decor than Amazon Prime. The only problem is, with SO many items available on there, it can get overwhelming to find what you are looking for and narrow down a particular style! I’ve made it easy by rounding up the absolute best Amazon fall decor items perfect for any decor whether you’re traditional, farmhouse, modern, boho, or a mix! Find all my picks and click on any photo to shop below!
Fall Home Tour 2019: Cozy Modern Farmhouse Living Room
I’m excited to share the first room on this year’s fall home tour, my living room! This year I kept my overall neutral palette with pops of pale pastel and gold throughout. I also restyled my coffee table with some new pieces and overall simplified the shelf decor too. I always love how cozy the addition of fall decor makes a living space feel!
My Favorite Target Fall Decor Picks
It’s my favorite time of year for decorating and I’m so excited to begin adding some cozy fall touches throughout my home. I get a good amount of my fall decor every year at Target and what I love is that many of the pieces can be used beyond fall as well! This year is no exception, and while most of these items aren’t available in my local stores yet, I went ahead and scoured their online inventory and chose my favorite pieces! I love the rich colors and textures they have incorporated this year and all the more modern fall pieces.
Fall Home Tour 2018: Front Porch
I was more excited than usual to decorate our front porch this year because we just completed a much overdue renovation of the porch which now has all new supports, stairs, and lumber all around. We have not gotten to stain the wood yet, but who knows when we’ll have time to do that, so I just went ahead and started decking it out for fall! This is a project we had on our list since moving in, as many of the boards had major cracking or holes in them, but somehow or another it always got pushed to the side. Now it’s as good as new and completely structurally sound as well.
Fall Home Tour 2018: Kitchen
Today I’m sharing the next room up on my fall home tour, my kitchen! I love to decorate this space for any time of year because there’s so many different areas and elements to refresh: open shelving, fireplace, table settings, and more! I usually use a lot of bright colors in here normally but add an extra pop of orange in as well for fall. I love how it looks mixed with the greens, blues, and gold accents I usually have in this space. Some of my favorite elements of this room are the simplest decor items- like the blue vase on the kitchen table filled with a tall autumn leaf stem; or the fireplace filled with a combination of firewood, bright pumpkins and gourds, and modern brass candlesticks.
