Olive cardigan | Bell-sleeve tee | Cut-off Shorts (vintage- similar here) | Boots (old-similar here)
We're in that weird in-between part of the season in Kentucky where we have chilly fall weather in the morning but pretty warm and hot temperatures by mid-day into the afternoon. My solution: lots of light neutral layers which keep you warm in the morning but allow you the option to remove the outer layer throughout the day. This lightweight, flowy cardigan from Anthropologie is the perfect transition piece for just that. So soft and perfectly draped- it's great for throwing on over basic tees, dresses, or even a tank after the gym. Another one of my favorite layering basics for fall is this ribbed bell-sleeve tee from the fall Who What Wear Collection at Target. The slightly fitted silhouette is perfect for layering under overalls, cardigans, or tucking into your favorite denim, and the tiered bell-sleeves are such a fun, unexpected detail!
