Chic & Modern Dining Room Update
This chic dining room design is the second of three rooms I have completed for this client and I love getting to work in her clean and minimal style! Find her spa-like minimal bedroom here and cool midcentury living room here. Since the first floor is fairly open in her main areas, I wanted to seamlessly bring the same clean and simple feel from the living room into the adjoining dining room space. We did this by incorporating many of the same cool tones, clean lines, and midcentury style furnishing with pops of warm taupe and beige tones.
Minimal Spa-Like Master Bedroom Makeover
Here’s a sneak peek of a project I am currently finishing up. This super minimal and chic master bedroom makeover is giving me all the spa-like vibes! This client knew exactly what she wanted, which made my job super easy. I have never done such a simple, minimal design before but I really loved the process. One of the biggest challenges for the space was choosing the right white paint color that would coordinate with the existing trim color which was a little darker beige. Before all the walls in this house were a very pale yellow (very 90’s- check out the before photos below) and we are slowly changing them room by room. Keeping the trim color as-is is a huge money saver in the long run, especially since the actual paint was still in good condition.
Bachelor Pad Dining Room Project
If you’ve been following along this will be the first of many “bachelor pad” updates. This summer I’ve had the pleasure of designing this entire house from scratch and I have loved the challenge. This client bought this home with no furniture but a mattress. His style is very minimal and modern and I also wanted to keep it masculine at the same time. We’ve used a lot of industrial metals, rustic reclaimed wood, and leather fabrics throughout the home. The dining room setup we pulled together is very simple but fits the space perfectly.
