Chic & Modern Dining Room Update

This chic dining room design is the second of three rooms I have completed for this client and I love getting to work in her clean and minimal style! Find her spa-like minimal bedroom here and cool midcentury living room here. Since the first floor is fairly open in her main areas, I wanted to seamlessly bring the same clean and simple feel from the living room into the adjoining dining room space. We did this by incorporating many of the same cool tones, clean lines, and midcentury style furnishing with pops of warm taupe and beige tones.

We kept the overall layout simple with a table and chairs in the center, gallery wall on one side, and sideboard on the other. The grid gallery wall really helps fill the large open walls and adds a great graphic pop as well! These are not the easiest to hang and get perfectly straight but I love the impact they make when finished! The sideboard we chose is very simple and open to keep the light and airy feel of the room. I accessorized it with some pops of green since everything else in here is very neutral. I especially like the pale green ceramic lamp on here (linked below). And always, whenever you need just a little something extra to fill a corner, a plant is the perfect addition! I stuck this one inside a basket to add some extra texture.
One of my favorite pieces used in this space was the dining room table! This piece is a show stopper with the wishbone brass legs and beautiful walnut top (exact table linked below as well as similar ones!). It made for a great statement piece and helped to tie in all of the other brass elements like the gold Sputnik sphere chandelier and gallery wall frames. This furniture piece as well as all other big items are linked below along with a few alternative options in different price ranges. All of the accessories are also linked below with adiditonal options too (since many of them were sourced in store from AtHome, I’ve linked some alternative options so you can shop the same look online). You can take a look at more photos of this space below and then shop the look to recreate the design on your own!

xoxo
