Bachelor Pad Dining Room Project
If you’ve been following along this will be the first of many “bachelor pad” updates. This summer I’ve had the pleasure of designing this entire house from scratch and I have loved the challenge. This client bought this home with no furniture but a mattress. His style is very minimal and modern and I also wanted to keep it masculine at the same time. We’ve used a lot of industrial metals, rustic reclaimed wood, and leather fabrics throughout the home. The dining room setup we pulled together is very simple but fits the space perfectly. Take a look at what this space looked like before below:
I absolutely love how this table looks in this room especially paired with the clean-lined leather chairs. This table h. What is your favorite part of this room?as a giant chunky reclaimed wood top set on two equally chunky and heavy geometric metal legs. It’s the perfect combination of modern industrial and rustic. As far as accessorizing, we kept it pretty simple- sheer gray curtains, a geometric print rug, and a tray + plant for the centerpiece. We also added a leaning mirror to the center of the wall and a fiddle leaf fig plant to fill in the corner space. We are going to add a bar cabinet to the left of the leaning mirror soon and possibly some additional shelving/artwork above it, which will really complete the space. Now this space is totally functional and comfortable but also looks completely pulled together! You can find a complete budget breakdown, shopping links, + all the details for all the items I used at the end of this post! What is your favorite part of this room?
