I always love looking through my blog analytics at the end of the year to see what posts were the most popular and what you loved most in the past year! This year there was a good mix of design, recipes, and home decor projects, as well as some home decor round-ups. My round-ups actually ended being two of the top three posts, so I definitely hope to do more of those in the coming year. DIY Salad Bar Board for a Crowd | Easy Entertaining Meal
I recently made this salad board for one of our Christmas parties and I’m kind of kicking myself that I hadn’t thought of this sooner! It really is such an easy way to entertain for a crowd and feed a lot of people without a lot of prep! It also works especially well if you have guests with certain food allergies, sensitivities, or preferences because everyone can make their own salad with the ingredients they want. This can also be customized a million different ways with all kinds of different ingredients! Mine leans more towards an Italian salad with the ingredients but there are so many different possibilities for this!
Christmas Tree Antipasto Board
What’s more festive (and delicious) than a Christmas tree antipasto platter? It’s so quick and easy to put together and perfect for your holiday entertaining! I’m listing all the ingredients and instructions below but you can totally customize this one with lots of different ingredients! I choose a couple salamis, 3 cheeses, olives, and peppers and layered into a Christmas tree shape! Finish with some fresh thyme and rosemary spread throughout for garnish and use a star cookie cutter to cut out a piece of cheese for the top!
Christmas TV Schedule 2019 {12/23-12/25}
For as long as I can remember, I have always made myself a list of when all the Christmas specials were going to be on TV every year so I could watch them. I decided I might as well share with all of you too so you can be sure not to miss your favorites! I’ve highlighted the big ones you don’t want to miss and broken the schedule down by day below. And just a note, I didn’t include Hallmark channel movies on these because those are on 24/7 and would seriously clutter the list! Enjoy!
Best of Christmas on Amazon Prime, Netflix, + Hulu
I’ve done all the work for you and sorted through the best Christmas movies + specials available on Amazon Prime, Hulu, + Netflix this year. There are so many more not mentioned (especially on Hulu because they had a TON to choose from this year!), but these are my top favorites. I also did a separate Amazon Prime for Kid’s which has lots of cute cartoons and holiday specials for your little ones. All the Amazon Prime options I listed on both are all free with prime membership! Take a look and enjoy your favorites!
Holiday Home Tour 2019: Glam Vintage Christmas Pantry
Today I’m sharing my very vintage holiday pantry decor. I seem to do basically the same decor in here every year but this year I just loved this space even more for some reason (despite having a debacle with my pre-lit tree that seriously delayed finishing this space up!)! I think the addition of some of my favorite vintage pieces, like my Santa cookie jar, to the dark green shelves in here made the space extra special. I love all the vintage touches and more traditional red and green in here which I don’t have as much of throughout the rest of the house. As always I added plenty of vintage ornaments and garland to our antique chandelier which is the centerpiece of the room!
Fun + Festive Kid's Holiday Snackboard
Today I am sharing a fun + festive holiday snack board for kids! This is full of cute + tasty little snacks + treats that your kids will love eating + making! I had so much fun putting one of these kid’s boards together for Halloween so I knew I had to do one for Christmas too! This is full of fun snacks that you can put together to surprise your kids or even let them help you make. All are very easy and only require a few steps and ingredients! I finished by filling the holes in my board with some treats from Trader Joe’s but that is totally optional! You could really use any holiday theme candy or desserts for that if you want!
