Bright + Cozy Loft Makeover
This past week I started wrapping up the final stages of a design project I've been working on for the past couple of months for one of my favorite clients. The install day of all the finishing touches and accessories is always my favorite because it always makes the space feel the most complete and cozy! This was my first time tackling a loft living space at the top of the stair like this and it was definitely challenging, but I love the (almost) finished product. The main challenge was trying to make such an open space feel cozy and comfortable, as well as figuring out the right way to arrange the furniture when you are basically missing an entire wall of the room!

Summer Strawberry Trifles with Lemon Mascarpone Cream
This super easy summer recipe combines some of my favorite ingredients: fresh strawberries, moist pound cake, and the most delicious lemon marscapone cream. All the ingredients are amazing on their own but when layered up, the flavors and textures perfectly compliment each other! I use a store-bought pound cake to make this recipe even easier, especially since you are going to be making the lemon marscapone cream from scratch. I love to serve this in individual mason jars for a fun twist on the traditional trifle and a super cute, summery presentation! It also makes it much easier to serve and transport to your party or event.
The Keeneland Paddock Dinner Series
I can't think of a better way to kick off summer than a dinner under the stars in the Keeneland Paddock! Thanks to Keeneland's new Paddock Dinner Series, you too can experience one of these intimate, family-style dinners right smack dab in the center of beautiful Keeneland. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best meals I have ever eaten in Lexington, and each course was better than the last. The decor and ambiance was also just perfect with live music, delicious appetizers and drinks being passed, colorful tablesettings, and twinkle lights strung across the Paddock.

Patchwork Floral Midi Dress
I have a serious weakness for any kind of vintagey floral print. This dress has the cutest floral prints, bright summery colors, and darling details like tassel ties at the shoulders. Creative Collective Mentor + Mix
We had the most magical evening at our Creative Collective mentor + mix event sharing all about "Business Basics." The Barn at Springhouse was the perfect venue for this event and I love how we were able to set up the small group sessions around palette tables throughout the barn and beautiful surrounding grounds. We had a lot of returning attendees from our first event and some new faces as well! Huge thanks to the venue and vendors, The Barn at Springhouse, Amendment 21 Event Bartending, Zachary Brady Designs, Kara Shepherd, Joe Dean Hinkle, and Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream! Summer Bruschetta Two Ways
This is one of my favorite easy recipes to whip up for a summer meal or appetizer! There are so many possibilities for summer bruschetta, but these are definitely two of my favorite ways to make it for the season. I use a whipped goat cheese base for both recipes and it's the perfect mild, slightly tangy spread to compliment both sweet + savory bruschetta.
