How to Build a Bagel Brunch Board
Sometimes I feel like I should maybe just create a whole blog dedicated to my love of cheese and charcuterie boards! I have shared so many different charcuterie boards, ideas, and recipes over the years on here and it truly is my favorite meal both to serve and eat! Not only is it easy to prepare but I love how you can really wow guests with the overall presentation, PLUS it feeds a large crowd easily. This past weekend, I wanted to put a twist on my usual charcuterie board for a Saturday morning event, and the bagel brunch board was born! Seriously who doesn't love bagels with alllll the fixings?! I included everything you need for both savory and sweet bagels and once I got going picking out ingredients, it was hard to stop! There are so many possibilities for this and I love that you can personalize it to your preferences or whatever your crowd may like. I got all my ingredients for this from Trader Joe's which is my favorite spot for picking up unique and delicious cheese board ingredients. I've listed all the items I used below as well as tips for assembling your own beautiful brunch board like a pro!
March Makeup Workshop at the Amsden
We're kicking off our lineup of spring workshops at the Amsden with a brand new class taught by local makeup artists, Caroline Lee. Caroline will be teaching us a step by step lesson for a natural makeup look and how to easily transform it into a more dramatic evening look! Bring along your own makeup bag and brushes, as she will also guide you through how to best use what products you already have, as well as letting you know what products/tools you might be missing. Modern + Minimal Nursery
I had too much fun designing my first nursery start to finish for some of my favorite clients! This super chic, modern. and minimal nursery is full of timeless pieces that can be grown into and used for many years to come. My clients knew they wanted a statement wall in Hale Navy (Benjamin Moore), but besides that, they really let me take the reigns on the design. My painter put together the simple gridwork trim on the wall and then painted it all one color. The rest of the walls were already gray which worked with our color scheme and the simple gray crib.
Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day! This fun shoot with pops of pastel + red was one of my favorites to date! I knew I wanted to shoot in front of one of my favorite houses in Lexington in Gratz Park. This home reminds me of a Charleston house on rainbow row! The star of my outfit is this faux fur pastel jacket (which I snagged on clearance at Target!). Since it's currently not online, I linked tons of similar options below! I paired it with another Target fave, this mock neck sweater (also seen here) which was the perfect pop of red to match my heart balloons! I've also been loving Maybelline's new matte ink lipcolors, and this Heroine shade is the perfect bright red! You can shop all of my outfit details which are linked for you above + below!
Galentine's Day at The Amsden
We had TOO much fun at our first Galentine's party at the Amsden and I definitely think this will have to become a regular event! Thanks so much to all the fabulous boss babes who collaborated with us and participated in this event, making it extra special and fun! I love how our vendors are always willing to jump in and participate and interact with customers! They each are so uniquely talented and have the best personalities and I love that we all value community over competition as small business owners. Most of all thanks to all of YOU for coming out to the event, even on a gross and rainy day! We were blown away by the turnout and hope everyone had as much fun as we did! February Handlettering Workshops at the Amsden
