Join us this weekend for a full line-up of holiday festivities on Main Street in Downtown Versailles! Most businesses will be open extended hours and/or offering specials, refreshments, or activities! Stop by the Amsden to try our new holiday drinks (like peppermint mochas and snickerdoodle lattes!) which we will be debuting this weekend! We’ve also added tons of new holiday inventory to the mercantile: cozy flannels and sweaters; Christmas wreaths, greenery, and garland; and jewelry and scarves!
Join us for the Versailles' Fall Festival this Weekend!
Kick off the fall season by spending the day in downtown Versailles at our annual fall festival! The Art Village, in cooperation with the Versailles Merchants Association, Woodford County Tourism Commission, and the City of Versailles, will be sponsoring the 2nd annual Versailles Fall Festival. On Saturday September 22, local artists and vendors will line Main Street to display and sell a variety of crafts, handmade items, artwork, and more! The street will be closed to traffic, music will be provided, and multiple food vendors will be on hand. This event is free and open to the public. Check out the specials we will be offering at The Amsden on Saturday below and we hope to see you there!
The Amsden is Hiring!
We are hiring at the Amsden Coffee Club for baristas that are available to work weekends during the fall and holiday season. You do not have to have coffee experience to apply (although it is a plus!). We are looking for applicants who are at least 16 and are responsible and dedicated, friendly, self-motivated, and dependable. Baby Riddle is a BOY!
The secret is out and on Monday we found out that baby Riddle is a boy! Alex called it from the beginning, and has been calling him "baby Woodford" for months now. I thought deep down it was a girl just because he was being way too overconfident! The ultrasound appointment was quite eventful because I woke up at 3 AM the night before with an awful stomach virus! I was still so sick when it was time to leave for our appointment but I was determined not to miss it, so we headed to the doctor with a barf bag in tow (not a joke!). I made it through the appointment and was so relieved to hear the baby's heartbeat again.
