Welcome to Gathered Living
When I first started Miss Molly Vintage, it was just a tiny booth space in Feather Your Nest that I shared with Street Scene Vintage. I chose the name after our family dog, Molly, who I got from my grandmother for Christmas when I was 7 years old. We had Molly for over 18 years and she was the best dog ever!
Since I took the leap and started focusing on Miss Molly Vintage full time a few years ago, I've continued to add to the brand: a blog, decorating services, and online shop. It has grown to be so much more than I could have ever imagined especially with the addition of The Amsden and my first true storefront at Gathered Mercantile.
When we started the Amsden project I knew it was the perfect opportunity to rebrand to a name that would better encompass all the different aspects of my business and blog. I chose the name Gathered Mercantile for my shop knowing that I would soon rebrand my personal brand to Gathered Living. Don't worry I'll still have all the same content, products, and style just with a new name! Welcome to the new face of Miss Molly Vintage, Gathered Living.

Photo Editing Apps to Take Your Social Media Up a Notch
At least once a day while scrolling through Instagram, I find a photo or video that really stands out and makes me stop and think: "how can I do that?" I instantly start googling and looking for what App or feature that influencer or brand might be using to create that content. Through that process, I've discovered some super fun Apps that can help take your photos up a notch! I'm not getting paid to promote any of these apps but I just enjoy using them and want to share the fun! I've listed a few of my favorites below for you to check out with some tips and my favorite aspects of each. Enjoy!
Baked French Toast Casserole with Raspberry Compote Butter
This recipe was probably my favorite dish that I served at the blogger brunch I hosted at the Amsden. It is so perfect for cozy winter mornings, snow days, or Valentine's day festivities as well. The tartness and fresh flavor of the raspberries perfectly cuts the sweetness and rich flavor of the french toast. Baking this dish after soaking the bread overnight makes it perfectly flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth soft and doughy. The raspberry compote butter really takes the entire recipe up a notch and adds the perfect bit of saltiness too. Make your next brunch extra special by serving this beautiful + delicious dish! Find all the ingredients and step-by-step instructions below.
Quick + Easy Fruit and Yogurt Brunch Parfaits
If you're looking for a sweet brunch treat that's just as easy as it is beautiful- this is for you! These mini individual parfaits are perfect for serving at showers or brunches and you can customize them for any size group. You could also just make them for yourself and store them in the fridge for an easy to grab breakfast or snack! I served my parfaits in individual juice glasses but you can also use mason jars or clear disposable cups. I incorporated these into the place settings at our blogger brunch since they are so cute and colorful! They are super simple and delicious and you can definitely customize them with different fruit, yogurt, or granola if you want! Blogger Brunch at The Amsden
This past weekend I was thrilled to host the most fun little brunch at The Amsden for a group of my local blogger friends. I'm hoping this will be the first of many events like this in our spaces and I had so much fun decorating and setting everything up inside the coffee shop. I decided to keep it simple and go with a winter white theme on the table settings. I found the table runners, napkins, and cute disposable plates at Homegoods. I wanted to keep cleanup simple so I also used this disposable wooden flatware which was super cute but also practical! I put together some quick floral arrangements in gold jars using all white flowers, eucalyptus, and baby's breath. I also cut some extra stems to lay on each place setting on top of the plate and napkin.
