Holiday Home Tour 2020: Entryway
Next up on my 2020 Holiday Home Tour is our entryway! If you’ve followed along for a while, you may have heard me rave about The Domestic, one of my favorite local vintage shops. This season, I found this tufted vintage bench that fits my entryway perfectly. I love the pop of color it adds to the space. For the rest of the decor, I stuck with a pretty neutral color scheme, with some cozy, cabin vibes. Make sure you check out the battery powered twinkle lights I’ve linked below. They are a lifesaver in older homes like mine with minimal outlets!

My Favorite Christmas Trees Roundup
Are you team real or fake Christmas tree? Or both? I personally am both but I do love to incorporate lots of faux Christmas trees throughout my home and love that I can keep them mostly decorated for storage and easy set up. I get SO many questions about my faux Christmas trees throughout my home so I decided it was time to do a round up of my favorites including the ones I have and those that are similar. Some of these (especially the ones I own), seem to go in and out of stock frequently, so just keep checking in or sign up for alerts! Here’s a roundup of ALL my favorite faux Christmas trees!

Holiday Home Tour 2020: Living Room
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m excited to start my Holiday 2020 Home Tour with our living room. Last year I kept this room pretty neutral, but I decided to add in some more gold and blush tones this year. I’ve also been loving the full, layered look for the mantle this year which I did by layering several different garlands for a more dramatic look! Shop all the links below and if you have questions about anything else- just ask!

Bright + Fun Vintage Halloween Playroom
Halloween may be over but I wanted to be sure to share one last space with you on my fall home tour, the playroom! If you were following along this summer, I participated in the One Room Challenge to makeover my son’s playroom. This entire room came together in 8 weeks, and it was full of DIY projects and vintage finds. You can read more about the playroom makeover and any sources for the space here. Now that the holidays have arrived, I’m having SO much fun adding in seasonal decor. I’ve been collecting vintage decor for years, but I’ve linked several options below so you can recreate this look!

DIY Family Winnie the Pooh Halloween Costumes from Amazon
We had the best time dressing up as a family for Halloween, featuring Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and the most adorable Christopher Robin I’ve ever seen. And the best part is, 100% of the materials for our costumes are available on Amazon! You can’t beat that! I ordered everything via prime and with a few little tweaks was able to make costumes that looked exactly like our favorite characters. Check out our family fun, and find links to recreate the look below.

Halloween Candy Board
I couldn’t let Halloween pass without one final themed board….a candy board! This is fully customizable- you can use whatever candy, desserts, and sweet treats you have on hand to make your own. This is one of the easiest boards to throw together, and it is sure to be a hit for kids and grown-ups alike! Find all the ingredients and instructions for putting your own together below!

Fall Home Tour 2020: Cozy Neutral Boho Living Room
The next space up on my fall home tour is my living room! I have added a few updates to this space recently to make it even more cozy for fall- a new rug, new lamps, and some new pillows/throws (all linked below)! This is definitely my most overall neutral space in the house but I love how cozy and clean it feels and I especially like to mix in lots of different textures to this space (knits, tassels, fringe, faux fur, etc.).

Fall Home Tour 2020: Cozy Vintage Eclectic Entryway
Fall is one of my favorite times of year to decorate! I love the feeling of walking into our home and instantly being greeted with this cozy nook. Every year, I decorate my home with my my favorite fall decor. I try to always reuse some old favorites, but it’s always fun to add in some new fall finds as well! This year, I repurposed my vintage equestrian gallery wall in the entryway. You may recognize some of these pieces, as the were once above this area of my home, in the corner of the staircase. I love the way they fill this space! All of the dried stems I used are available at the Amsden! They are the perfect soft touch for any space.
