After a bit of a summer hiatus, we are excited to host our next event for Creative Collective! Join us next Thursday, August 30th, at 7 PM at Mirror Twin Brewery in Lexington for a casual, laid-back evening of networking, discussions, and mingling! There's no ticket necessary and you can come and go as you please! Bring us your questions and come enjoy some drinks and pizza with us! All the details can be found below!
Creative Collective Mentor + Mix at The Barn At Springhouse
Things that aren’t as easy as they look: throwing balloons into the air and immediately striking a pose for a photo....and running a business, a side hustle, or just being an all-around force to be reckoned with.
That’s why we’re here! We are so grateful for all of the amazing women who attended our first event, and we can’t WAIT for Mentor + Mix on May 8th from 7-9pm.
The founders of CC have experience in so many fields, including design, retail, photography, branding, marketing, art, events, renovation, and starting and sustaining a business...to name a few! Now, we want to be an asset to you.
DIY Balloon Arch
One of my favorite parts of our Creative Collective Meet + Mingle event was designing + putting together this balloon arch backdrop. This was my first time attempting any kind of balloon arch, but I was surprised at how easy it was and how quickly I seemed to get the hang of the process. Like most of my DIY projects, I read several tutorials online and then kind of combined the easiest steps from each (because I don't have any time for complicated projects!). I did have lots of help with this project, as one of our coffee shop employees helped me blow up most of the balloons and my friend Katie helped me assemble and hang the arch onto the wall. This is such a great way to create a stunning focal point for any event or party and I PROMISE it isn't as hard as it looks (or I wouldn't have done it).
Creative Collective Meet + Mingle
We had a BLAST at our first Creative Collective event this past week at The Amsden! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and bought tickets, we so enjoyed getting to meet and chat with each of you! I've included some of my favorite photos from the event so far in this post as well as a link to purchase tickets to our NEXT event at the bottom of this post. Our next event will be a bit more hands-on and will be held at the gorgeous Barn at Springhouse Gardens.

Insert Creative Collective. We have experience in retail, renovation, marketing and branding, art, photography, design, blogging and more. And we're here to help.
We'll host mixers, workshops, and events designed to help you make the most of your skills and ideas. Whether you've started a business already, have a side hustle, or are thinking about taking the leap, we'll share what we've learned so far.
Our launch event will be Thursday, April 12th at 7pm. We'll be meeting at The Amsden (151 South Main, Versailles) for a quick, networking mixer. Get to know us and come ready to make some connections. Don't forget to have your business cards in tow. Your business bestie awaits!
