Fall Front Porch Makeover
This giveaway was my favorite to date and I hope to do many more of these soon! Thanks again to King's Gardens and Peddler's Mall Stores for collaborating with us on this fun project. Leslie who lives downtown in the North Limestone area of Lexington was our winner and I just loved the character and charm of her adorable house (that painted brick + trim!). It ended up being such a perfect porch for our giveaway and had plenty of room for all of the decor.
I began by nestling this fall sign in the corner and placed the hay bale in front of it at an angle. I topped the hay bale with one of our festival blankets, a brass lantern, and vintage planter overflowing with pumpkins and gourds. The larger vintage brass planter and mum fit perfectly in the little nook right in front of the hay bale.
I love how all these fall colors pop against the pale blue of the house! Below you can see the other side of the door where I placed the vintage vase with wheat, and a couple other pumpkins. Leslie already had this larger potted plant that blended in perfectly with the rest of our decor.
I also added the faux fern wreath to the cute, bright front door for an extra pop of color. The fodder shocks were the final touch which I was able to tie around this beautiful column on the porch. I had a few more mini pumpkins so I lined them up the stair ledges leading up to the porch too! I was thrilled that Leslie loved her porch makeover and shared a photo on Instagram as soon as she saw it! Thank you so much to all who participated in this giveaway and I can't wait to do more makeovers like this in the future!
xoxo
