Fave Finds
I just love Loretta Lynn and "Coal Miner's Daughter" is one of my all-time favorite movies, so when I spotted this vintage mug at an estate sale, I could hardly believe my eyes! This treasure is an authentic vintage souvenir from the 70s from Loretta Lynn's birthplace right here in Kentucky. A perfect gift for any Loretta lover- you can shop it now here.
My husband put these in my stocking for Christmas and now I am hooked! I usually stick to super cheap drugstore brand face wash, but I can tell this has improved my skin so much that I am willing to spend a little more on it. The brightening facial scrub is super exfoliating (which I love!) and really deep cleans your skin, removing all impurities, while also brightening any scars or dark spots you might have. I get acne scars and dark spots very easily and this has really done wonders for my skin tone. I also am drawn to super grainy, coarse scrubs because they just feel like a mini-facial every time you use them! The night cream smells so lovely and really does just about everything you need for your skin: firming, moisturizing, and repairing. Sometimes moisturizers make my skin feel oily and greasy as they set in but this cream leaves my skin feeling so clean and fresh even hours later! The best part about all Acure products is that they are completely natural, organic, and certified fair trade. Their products use two of the most potent cutting-edge ingredients available: active stem sells and Chlorella growth factor. You can find their products locally at Whole Foods or Good Food Co-op, or shop them online here.
These stunning vintage antlers are another estate sale find. I was able to snag two mounted antlers from this same estate sale (one of which I just had to keep!). I love the leather and wood mount on this one and especially the gorgeous dark gray/brown tone of the antlers. It is so rare to find vintage mounted antlers in such good shape. These are from the 50's and even have the date written in pencil on the back of the wood! You can shop them now here.
Yet another garage sale find (I hit the jackpot the last couple of weeks), this giant vintage floor pillow fits in perfectly in my newly redecorated guest bedroom! I love the unique southwestern-style print and colors. Compared to the $50 plus you would spend on a new floor pillow or pouf at stores, I am very pleased with my $3 purchase!
I love the bohemian vibe of this summery 90's tribal print dress I found while out thrifiting. It has a unique wrap silhouette and is also a skort on the bottom! It is super flattering on and also so comfortable. I can see it paired with wedges and a clutch for dinner, or strappy sandals and a tote for daytime.
I have never made it out of Target with only the items I went in for. Twice I have come SO close to making it to the cash register with JUST the dog food I needed, or JUST the toothpaste I came for, but THEN i pass the wrapping section. They knew what they were doing when they placed this section right next to the cash register. I almost always grab some cute printed tissue, ribbon, or a gift bag when I pass by. For spring they have EXPANDED their Spritz brand wrapping supplies and added so many cute new things. I picked up some black and white stripe and floral wrapping paper, black and white polka dot ribbon, gold and white striped twine, and these cute clear/black stripe treat bags. Check out the new spring wrappings at your local target or at Target.com
