One of my favorite installs from this summer and a follower favorite as well was this modern farmhouse office project! We started with a pretty empty space but in a day transformed it into a bright + cozy office space that is much more functional and welcoming. We mostly stuck to neutrals in the room but I wanted to add warmth with lots of textures and different materials. There are lots of wood tones throughout, as well as pops of dark metal, and then we pulled in some cozy texture and pattern with the pillows, throw, curtains, and rug.Read More
Today I’m sharing this recent guest bedroom makeover that I completed for a client this past week! We started with basically nothing except a plain bed and transformed the space into a cozy and layered bedroom that any guest would love to stay in. I think everyone covets that high-end and super cozy Anthropologie look especially in a bedroom, but not so much the price tag. I was able to copy the look for a quarter of the price using bedding and accessories from Target. Their new Opalhouse line in particular has a ton of Anthropologie inspired pieces. We also added these gorgeous nightstands and headboard from Wayfair which really anchor the room.Read More
I’m 30 weeks today in my pregnancy and the clothing options continue to shrink week by week! I still haven’t purchased any maternity clothes and have been getting by with a few staple pieces. I love this simple shirtdress for fall and beyond from Target’s Universal Thread line and it’s bump friendly! I paired it with suede booties, a vintage hat, and a camo print blouse tied at the waist. This simple linen blend midi dress from Target is another non-maternity dress that works great for both maternity and beyond. It can also be styled for summer and into fall with a few layering tricks. I love the idea of layering a top over it for a bit more coverage for maternity wear, but as it gets cooler out, it would also be great with a denim jacket or cardigan too! This black crop top is perfect for layering because you can adjust the front tie/ruching to make it longer or shorter. Shop all my outfit details with the links above + below!Read More
I have been SO excited to share this amazing transformation of one of my latest design projects. This client's bathroom was original to the home and had not been updated since they had lived there. I was so excited when they asked me to help with the design and coordination of this renovation especially after hearing their vision and ideas for the space. Miller Team Renovations handled all the tile and renovation work from start to finish and they were wonderful to work with. I appreciated that they kept me updated every step of the way and allowed me to make every single little decision about the space, which is so rare.Read More
This loft makeover I've been working for one of my clients is officially finished as we just installed the light fixture and gorgeous wallpaper in the last couple of weeks. I am thrilled with how the finished space turned out and I could not love this bright and simple geometric wallpaper from Anthropologie any more! It actually was very easy to hang on our own (with my mom's help) and I was shocked at how well we got the pattern to match up. Wallpaper is so much better quality overall nowadays and they are constantly making it easier to hang and easier to remove as well, so there's really no reason not to give it a go as it makes such an impact in a room! This beaded flush mount light fixture was a perfect fun statement piece since we didn't have high enough ceilings for a traditional chandelier or pendant light. It still adds plenty of interest and totally fits the modern, beachy style of this room. It's hard to believe that just a few months ago this room was completely empty and unused! Now I think this is a space that this family can enjoy and grow into for many years to come! You can find all the shopping links + details for the pieces I used in this space below!
Shorts that combine gingham AND lemon print?! Count me in! These Target shorts are too perfect, flattering, AND under $20! These fit true to size and I am wearing a medium. I also love this super soft top with adjustable ruched tie in front which is also under $20 and perfect for mixing + matching with summer shorts and skirts! I have linked all my outfit details for you to shop above + below!Read More
PSA: Everyone needs to head to Target and check out their newest line, Universal Thread. All the pieces are very reminiscient of the style of Madewell but at Target prices, and I seriously love every piece! This wrap dress and cardigan were two of my first purchases from the line and I'm sure they won't be the last. My blush mules are also from Target (from the A New Day line) and they are another spring necessity! You can shop all my outfit details and some more of my Universal Thread favorites below!Read More
