It’s amazing how much impact your accessories have on the overall feel of a room. This project was a “decor refresh” where we kept all the main pieces but switched out small accessories/decor to completely transform the overall style of this living room. This client wanted to modernize their farmhouse living room and make it more clean and simple overall. They already had great, quality furniture pieces, so there was no need to replace any of those! We stripped down the space and updated small items like lamps, coffee table accessories, wall decor, and pillows! The end product is so classic but also modern and chic and will last this couple for years to come!Read More
One of my favorite installs from this summer and a follower favorite as well was this modern farmhouse office project! We started with a pretty empty space but in a day transformed it into a bright + cozy office space that is much more functional and welcoming. We mostly stuck to neutrals in the room but I wanted to add warmth with lots of textures and different materials. There are lots of wood tones throughout, as well as pops of dark metal, and then we pulled in some cozy texture and pattern with the pillows, throw, curtains, and rug.Read More
This loft makeover I've been working for one of my clients is officially finished as we just installed the light fixture and gorgeous wallpaper in the last couple of weeks. I am thrilled with how the finished space turned out and I could not love this bright and simple geometric wallpaper from Anthropologie any more! It actually was very easy to hang on our own (with my mom's help) and I was shocked at how well we got the pattern to match up. Wallpaper is so much better quality overall nowadays and they are constantly making it easier to hang and easier to remove as well, so there's really no reason not to give it a go as it makes such an impact in a room! This beaded flush mount light fixture was a perfect fun statement piece since we didn't have high enough ceilings for a traditional chandelier or pendant light. It still adds plenty of interest and totally fits the modern, beachy style of this room. It's hard to believe that just a few months ago this room was completely empty and unused! Now I think this is a space that this family can enjoy and grow into for many years to come! You can find all the shopping links + details for the pieces I used in this space below!

Many ended up being some of my favorite décor items this holiday season and I know I will continue to use them year after year. The new spring additions are all simple, clean, + classic, perfect for refreshing your home in the new year. I've linked up all my favorite pieces for you to shop below.

If you follow my Instagram stories at all, you know that I have been not-so-patiently stalking Target for their new fall home decor collection for the past couple of weeks. This year the Threshold fall decor collection drop coincided with another launch of Target's new home decor brand, Project 62. Both were released this week online and in-stores and as usual, Target did not disappoint. I found so many great pieces to add to my seasonal decor and many of them are also perfect for year-round use as well. Take a look at some of my favorite picks below (just click on any photo to shop!).
I just love Loretta Lynn and "Coal Miner's Daughter" is one of my all-time favorite movies, so when I spotted this vintage mug at an estate sale, I could hardly believe my eyes! This treasure is an authentic vintage souvenir from the 70s from Loretta Lynn's birthplace right here in Kentucky. A perfect gift for any Loretta lover- you can shop it now here.
My husband put these in my stocking for Christmas and now I am hooked! I usually stick to super cheap drugstore brand face wash, but I can tell this has improved my skin so much that I am willing to spend a little more on it. The brightening facial scrub is super exfoliating (which I love!) and really deep cleans your skin, removing all impurities, while also brightening any scars or dark spots you might have. I get acne scars and dark spots very easily and this has really done wonders for my skin tone. I also am drawn to super grainy, coarse scrubs because they just feel like a mini-facial every time you use them! The night cream smells so lovely and really does just about everything you need for your skin: firming, moisturizing, and repairing. Sometimes moisturizers make my skin feel oily and greasy as they set in but this cream leaves my skin feeling so clean and fresh even hours later! The best part about all Acure products is that they are completely natural, organic, and certified fair trade. Their products use two of the most potent cutting-edge ingredients available: active stem sells and Chlorella growth factor. You can find their products locally at Whole Foods or Good Food Co-op, or shop them online here.
These stunning vintage antlers are another estate sale find. I was able to snag two mounted antlers from this same estate sale (one of which I just had to keep!). I love the leather and wood mount on this one and especially the gorgeous dark gray/brown tone of the antlers. It is so rare to find vintage mounted antlers in such good shape. These are from the 50's and even have the date written in pencil on the back of the wood! You can shop them now here.
Yet another garage sale find (I hit the jackpot the last couple of weeks), this giant vintage floor pillow fits in perfectly in my newly redecorated guest bedroom! I love the unique southwestern-style print and colors. Compared to the $50 plus you would spend on a new floor pillow or pouf at stores, I am very pleased with my $3 purchase!
I love the bohemian vibe of this summery 90's tribal print dress I found while out thrifiting. It has a unique wrap silhouette and is also a skort on the bottom! It is super flattering on and also so comfortable. I can see it paired with wedges and a clutch for dinner, or strappy sandals and a tote for daytime.
I have never made it out of Target with only the items I went in for. Twice I have come SO close to making it to the cash register with JUST the dog food I needed, or JUST the toothpaste I came for, but THEN i pass the wrapping section. They knew what they were doing when they placed this section right next to the cash register. I almost always grab some cute printed tissue, ribbon, or a gift bag when I pass by. For spring they have EXPANDED their Spritz brand wrapping supplies and added so many cute new things. I picked up some black and white stripe and floral wrapping paper, black and white polka dot ribbon, gold and white striped twine, and these cute clear/black stripe treat bags. Check out the new spring wrappings at your local target or at Target.com
I lucked upon these lace-up gladiator sandals at TJMaxx last week and I have worn them almost every day since! They are the perfect boho-chic summer sandal to add a little edge to any outfit. They also had these in black AND in a wedge version (that I snagged as well-oops!).

I found this oversized straw clutch while out thrifting and it is truly the perfect everyday summer bag! The straw makes it versatile enough to dress up or down and also gives it that super summery feel! It has a wrist strap, front snap closure, and is fully lined with a pocket inside! I have been a huge fan of the JR Watkins cleaning products for a while. Their soaps and all-purpose spray cleaner are staples in my home and I always pick some up when I'm at Target (which is often). I recently tried their new coconut scent household cleaner spray and it smells so beachy and wonderful!

THIS is probably my favorite find of the week. I love Elvis, I love vintage cookbooks, and this wonderfully tacky treasure is just too good to be true! "Are You Hungry Tonight: Elvis' Favorite Recipes" features dishes like Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches, Smoky Mountain Gravy, Pork Chops and Sweet Potatoes, and Good Ol' Apple Pie. I can't wait to try some of these tasty treats out! If you want your own copy, don't worry! There are lots more for sale on Amazon right now!
