Christmas lights are one of my FAVORITE things about this time of year! We love traveling around the area experiencing amazing light shows. For my porch I wanted to keep it simple yet impactful! Holiday Home Tour 2021: Classically Vintage Christmas Nursery
John Woodford’s bedroom is so nostalgic for me and houses a lot of my keepsake Christmas items, ornaments, books, and stuffed animals from childhood. I wanted to make this space feel as magical as possible and we have so much fun playing with the Santa train, turning on all the lights, and reading books in here. Each year we add a few more fun keepsakes and it just gets better and better. My favorite thing in the space is probably the vintage toy box I use as a tree skirt for his Christmas tree. It ended up being the perfect size and I’m able to use it for storage throughout the rest of the year! I also love the cozy teepee set up full of pillows, Christmas stuffed animals, and Christmas lights!

If you followed my One Room Challenge earlier this year, you have seen a full transformation of my entryway! I could not wait to get my hands on decorating this space for the holidays! Fall Home Tour 2021: Warm + Cozy Autumn Living Room
Our living room is the next space on my fall home tour! I chose to update my fall decor this year by replacing some of the textiles and built-in accessories with items from The Amsden as well as a few other stores, and you can also shop all of these items below! This room is a prime example of how you don’t have to break the bank to incorporate seasonal decor in your home. A few new additions like swapping out vintage autumn landscape prints in my existing frames, swapping a couple of throw pillows for some warmer tones and textures, and adding some new mantle decor (just plain white mini pumpkins!) were all small and affordable changes that made it feel like I had a completely new, cozy fall space!
Fall Home Tour 2021: Spooky Autumn Front Porch
The space in my home where I always have the MOST fun decorating for fall is without a doubt, my front porch! Since this is the entry into our home and also visible from the outside to passersby, I always want to go all out! I wanted to create a porch that is fun for the Halloween season, with aspects that are also very traditional fall- it’s the best of both worlds!
I have enjoyed adding these bats to the walls as well as the sticks and crows for the last couple of years, and this year I even added some 3-dimensional hanging bats as well! I also gave a basic fall wreath an upgrade for my front door by adding some craft store Halloween supplies like mini skulls, spiders, and bats as well as dried fall stems! The space is completed with tons of pumpkins and planters filled with mums throughout!
Fall Home Tour 2021: Welcoming & Warm Vintage Cottage Style Entryway
I’m starting off this years fall home tour with my autumn entryway! If you’ve been following me for the past few months, then you know I just recently redesigned this entire area for the 2021 One Room Challenge. I really wanted this area to be welcoming and cozy but also very unique!
Once I had completed The One Room Challenge, I realized I had even more to look forward to with all of the new possibilities that lay ahead for seasonal decor in my newly designed space! There’s nothing like a redesigned room to provide inspiration and new life to existing seasonal pieces that were packed in boxes awaiting their fall debut. From the colors in the vintage stair runners, to the pattern in the floral wallpaper, I knew these and so many other new details would perfectly compliment my fall decor.
As many of you know, I like to decorate my home using a mix of vintage, new, and custom DIY pieces. Check out the detail shots of both areas below to see how I used a mix of these items to style my entryway for fall. I will also link as many exact items as possible for y’all to shop, but since many pieces are vintage or one-of-a-kind, I will link a few similar options too! Holiday Home Tour 2020: Playroom
Welcome to the most fun room of the house- our Christmas playroom! I have had so much fun decorating this space for holidays and can’t wait to continue to in the future. I got a pastel pink tree for the room and even did a little DIY makeover on an old Christmas village set too for the mantle! I love filling up our book wall with all our Christmas children’s books as well as the music corner with our vintage Christmas albums!
