My Magical Autumn Greenhouse
I don’t think it gets more magical than a little greenhouse + twinkle lights + allll the pumpkins. While trying to figure out where I was going to put all these pumpkins from my latest trip to the produce auction, I spotted my little, still empty greenhouse out in the yard and instantly had a vision of a magical little backyard fall scene. I pulled all the props, planters, baskets, and pieces used around and inside the greenhouse from my garage or shed and dug some old Christmas lights out from storage. I had so much fun setting it up and I wish I could pick it up and transport it all over for more people to enjoy it! Sometimes you gotta do something just for fun and forget about how practical it is!

It’s my favorite time of year for decorating and I’m so excited to begin adding some cozy fall touches throughout my home. I get a good amount of my fall decor every year at Target and what I love is that many of the pieces can be used beyond fall as well! This year is no exception, and while most of these items aren’t available in my local stores yet, I went ahead and scoured their online inventory and chose my favorite pieces! I love the rich colors and textures they have incorporated this year and all the more modern fall pieces.

For a couple of years I have been putting together these homemade stove-top fall scents for the store and my own home. Each year I have added a few more ingredients and perfected my recipe a little more. These little jars of ingredients pack a punch, within a few minutes they will make your whole home smell just heavenly and exactly like fall! I've included all the ingredients and step-by-step directions below so that you can make your own. We recently had our own build-your-own simmering scent station set up at the mercantile and it was a huge hit! We had all the ingredients ready and empty jars available for customers to fill and customize themselves.
