I’m excited to share the first room on this year’s fall home tour, my living room! This year I kept my overall neutral palette with pops of pale pastel and gold throughout. I also restyled my coffee table with some new pieces and overall simplified the shelf decor too. I always love how cozy the addition of fall decor makes a living space feel!Read more
I recently completed a little decor refresh for one of my former clients who wanted to update their farmhouse style decor to something more modern and clean. Their space was already beautiful (you can check out the “before” below), and really just needed some updating of accessories. We did get a new, larger console table to better fit the space, which really made a huge difference especially since it has such simple, clean lines. We combined lots of simple and classic pieces that overall created a crisp, clean, and modern space that will last for years to come.Read more
Today I’m sharing this recent guest bedroom makeover that I completed for a client this past week! We started with basically nothing except a plain bed and transformed the space into a cozy and layered bedroom that any guest would love to stay in. I think everyone covets that high-end and super cozy Anthropologie look especially in a bedroom, but not so much the price tag. I was able to copy the look for a quarter of the price using bedding and accessories from Target. Their new Opalhouse line in particular has a ton of Anthropologie inspired pieces. We also added these gorgeous nightstands and headboard from Wayfair which really anchor the room.Read more
It is only fitting that on my birthday two of my favorite things would collide, Target + Magnolia! I have been bursting with excitement for this collab for the past few months and I could hardly believe that it was being debuted on my birthday- best present ever! I decided to play it safe and shop online to ensure that I could get what I wanted. Target allowed you to see all the items before they were released and add them to your "favorites" list but you could not add them to your cart until after midnight. For some reason, Target likes to be super top secret about these things and not release new collections exactly at midnight or even tell the public exactly what time the new collections will be available online. I seriously sat up till 1:30 AM clicking refresh over and over and finally fell asleep; then woke up an hour later, and was finally able to add everything to my cart!
It took some serious narrowing down for me to get my cart down to a semi-reasonable amount and not purchase everything! I love everything about this collection especially the simplicity and timeless style of all the pieces. The simple black, white, and green color scheme is perfect for the holidays and beyond and I'm thinking I will copy this same look in my living room Christmas decor this year. I also love the price point and that all everything is so affordable! Below I've linked up my absolute favorite pieces that I purchased on my first round (yes I'm sure I'll be back for more!) of shopping this collection. You can click on any of the photos to see more details and to shop that piece! Which items are your favorite? Did you head to Target early to check out the new collection? Let me know in the comments below!
If you follow my Instagram stories at all, you know that I have been not-so-patiently stalking Target for their new fall home decor collection for the past couple of weeks. This year the Threshold fall decor collection drop coincided with another launch of Target's new home decor brand, Project 62. Both were released this week online and in-stores and as usual, Target did not disappoint. I found so many great pieces to add to my seasonal decor and many of them are also perfect for year-round use as well. Take a look at some of my favorite picks below (just click on any photo to shop!).
