Clean + Neutral Living Room Shelf Styling + Decor Refresh

I got to use all of my favorite shelf styling basics on this client’s living room shelves refresh last week! We added tons of visual interest to these entertainment center shelves with layers and stacking. I like to start with placing the larger objects and books that I can stack smaller trinkets + frames on or around. Once I have these balanced, I add depth by layering frames and other decor items in front of one another. My last step is always adding all of the smaller pieces and finishing touches and stepping back to make sure everything is balanced as a whole! We included several of the newest Studio McGee pieces from their new Target line (love love love that scalloped bowl- finally back in stock!).
