Relaxing + Cozy Mid Century Modern Sitting Room
I am loving this relaxing and cozy sitting room makeover! The perfect place to cozy up with a good book, or wind down from the day with a glass of wine. The custom shelving from MK Farmhouse Furniture is the perfect focal point for this space. I love the combination of blues and neutrals we used along with the various textures to tie everything together.
Bright + Clean Guestroom with Cozy Sitting Area
I am loving this recent guest room makeover I designed and am really ready to move right in! I always love when there is space in a bedroom for a cozy seating area, and this one situated around the beautiful curved window is just perfect! We kept it light and neutral in here because this room will see a ton of different guests and I wanted it to be cozy and comfortable for everyone. We painted all the walls “Pure White” by Sherwin Williams to give the room a bright and clean backdrop. We also added a modern and chic ceiling fan where there was a small light fixture before. I especially love the mix of cozy textures and layers in this space- from the bedding, to the rug, linen slipcovered chairs, and pillows!
DIY Aged Pots + Vases | Pottery Barn Look for Less Using Thrift Store Finds
I’m always on the lookout for great home decor DIY’s especially when it involves up-cycling thrifted finds! I recently came across this “found pot” DIY on Jaci Daily’s Instagram and knew I had to try it ASAP! I, like Jaci, am obsessed with these “found” pots, planters, and vases seen below- they have the perfect amount of wear, age, and texture that give them an antique, “found” look. I definitely am not ever paying that much for a vase or planter though, BUT thanks to the quick DIY I am sharing today- you can get the look for much, much less! Even when you find these vintage or at antique stores now they are usually super expensive since they’re becoming so popular (olive pots is what many are referred to as).
Look for Less: Cane Decor + Furniture
Cane decor is so cute and increasing in popularity! As we are approaching warmer months, I feel like cane decor can be the perfect “pop” on a patio, living room, or table decor that gives a nod to warmer weather. Also - don’t be intimidated to incorporate cane decor year round! It can be a great way to incorporate a bohemian or modern farmhouse style into functional pieces and carry the theme throughout different rooms of your home.
Entryway Tables for Less Than $200
Entryway areas can be a little tricky to decorate because they tend to serve as a catch-all space that needs to be both practical and stylish. A entryway table can be a great way to ground an entryway, hallway, or foyer area and give some function too. I wanted to put together some of my favorite entryway tables that are stylish and affordable, all coming in less than $200! I did a variety of styles, colors, and sizes so you’re sure to find something that can suit your space and needs.
