Fall Home Tour 2021: Cozy + Neutral Modern Farmhouse Kitchen
I love a cozy fall kitchen! Fall is the launch of the holiday season, and setting my kitchen up so that it’s a warm, inviting space really helps me set the tone for all the upcoming gatherings! I have a few new additions to the kitchen this year including a rug under the dining table, some lamps (LOVE a lamp in a kitchen- so unexpected but add so much coziness!), and some new framed prints throughout. I have linked all the items I used to decorate my space below as well as similar options for anything that is one-of-a-kind/vintage. Take a little tour of my autumn kitchen through the photos below!
Beautiful Home Organizing Challenge: How To Organize Your Kitchen
The next space up on our Beautiful Home Organizing Challenge is the kitchen! While we actually don’t have a ton of closed storage and traditional kitchen cabinets in our kitchen, we still have plenty of unique storage options that needed organizing! I’ll also take this week as an opportunity to show you all around our kitchen and how we make due with limited closed storage and make the most of open storage ideas.
Fall Home Tour 2020: Cozy Neutral Modern Farmhouse Kitchen
I’m wrapping up this year’s fall home tour with one of my favorite spaces in the house- our kitchen! Overall I keep this room pretty neutral but I am loving the addition of some pops of fall color throughout inspired by my new kitchen runner. I added a lot of faux and dried stems throughout as well as wreaths on the fireplace and window for simple pops of autumn texture and color. I also love accessorizing the open shelving in here too for each season. I’ve linked all my favorite pieces for you to shop below!
Holiday Home Tour 2019: Modern Farmhouse Christmas Kitchen
My kitchen is always one of my favorite areas to decorate for the holidays. This year I did a more neutral color scheme in here of all white, black, and pops of green. Our beautiful real tree and garland on the fireplace is courtesy of Hillenmeyer’s Christmas Shop and are definitely the highlights of the space. The quality of the greenery and our tree are above and beyond what I have gotten before at other stores and our tree still looks just as full and healthy as it did when we first got it! Not only is the quality top notch, but the experience you get at Hillenmeyer’s is just completely magical and so special! Every corner is photo worthy and they really put so much effort into making it a beautiful and inspiring space for all who visit. I can’t thank them enough for collaborating with me this year and making my Christmas decor a little more special.
Fall Kitchen Tour 2019
I’m excited to share my newly refreshed fall kitchen! I recently stripped down this entire space- all wall decor and curtains, and have been moving towards a more modern and minimal style in here overall. I’m still wanting to update my rugs and a few other things, but I already am loving the updates. Along those same lines, I kept the fall decor in here very neutral and simple this year. Lots of black and white, mixing textures, and simple, natural accessories. I always love styling the open shelving and fireplace area in particular.
Our Fixer Upper: Spring Kitchen Updates
It took me a little longer than usual this year, but I've finally gotten all my winter decor packed up and am slowly freshening up my home for spring. The kitchen is one of the first areas I've focused on because it's so easy to add a few spring touches in here. A few bowls of fresh citrus like lemons, limes, and oranges are perfect for adding a pop of color on your kitchen island or on your countertops. I also like to have lots of fresh flowers everywhere. You don't even have to do a full blown arrangement, as sometimes just a few simple stems in a large jar can be just as effective. Finally I also brightened up my table settings with this amazing macrame runner and some simple white plates.
