The Best Valentine’s Day Roundup
Valentine’s Day is next week, but it’s still not too late to get your home and your table filled with beautiful Valentine’s Day items. I’ve rounded up all my favorites from some of my favorite stores, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, Target, and Kirkland’s, and linked them below for easy shopping!
Early Christmas Decor Roundup 2023
While I consider Halloween my super bowl each year, Christmas is not far behind! I love being able to create a magical feeling in my home with all the Christmas décor throughout each room.
Fall Kitchen Tour 2019
I’m excited to share my newly refreshed fall kitchen! I recently stripped down this entire space- all wall decor and curtains, and have been moving towards a more modern and minimal style in here overall. I’m still wanting to update my rugs and a few other things, but I already am loving the updates. Along those same lines, I kept the fall decor in here very neutral and simple this year. Lots of black and white, mixing textures, and simple, natural accessories. I always love styling the open shelving and fireplace area in particular.
Modern Farmhouse Living Room Design
It’s amazing how much impact your accessories have on the overall feel of a room. This project was a “decor refresh” where we kept all the main pieces but switched out small accessories/decor to completely transform the overall style of this living room. This client wanted to modernize their farmhouse living room and make it more clean and simple overall. They already had great, quality furniture pieces, so there was no need to replace any of those! We stripped down the space and updated small items like lamps, coffee table accessories, wall decor, and pillows! The end product is so classic but also modern and chic and will last this couple for years to come!
Bright + Cozy Loft Makeover
This past week I started wrapping up the final stages of a design project I've been working on for the past couple of months for one of my favorite clients. The install day of all the finishing touches and accessories is always my favorite because it always makes the space feel the most complete and cozy! This was my first time tackling a loft living space at the top of the stair like this and it was definitely challenging, but I love the (almost) finished product. The main challenge was trying to make such an open space feel cozy and comfortable, as well as figuring out the right way to arrange the furniture when you are basically missing an entire wall of the room!
