We had the most magical evening at our Creative Collective mentor + mix event sharing all about "Business Basics." The Barn at Springhouse was the perfect venue for this event and I love how we were able to set up the small group sessions around palette tables throughout the barn and beautiful surrounding grounds. We had a lot of returning attendees from our first event and some new faces as well! Huge thanks to the venue and vendors, The Barn at Springhouse, Amendment 21 Event Bartending, Zachary Brady Designs, Kara Shepherd, Joe Dean Hinkle, and Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream! Be sure to scroll through all our photos from the event below (all photos by On a Whim Photography).Read More
Starting a business is so rewarding. It's also hella hard work. It's incredibly difficult to navigate all of the firsts of running a business, especially when you're going it alone. Insert Creative Collective. We have experience in retail, renovation, marketing and branding, art, photography, design, blogging and more. And we're here to help.
We'll host mixers, workshops, and events designed to help you make the most of your skills and ideas. Whether you've started a business already, have a side hustle, or are thinking about taking the leap, we'll share what we've learned so far.
Our launch event will be Thursday, April 12th at 7pm. We'll be meeting at The Amsden (151 South Main, Versailles) for a quick, networking mixer. Get to know us and come ready to make some connections. Don't forget to have your business cards in tow. Your business bestie awaits!Read More
Today I had the privilege of doing a little segment discussing holiday decorating tips on a local news show, Midday Kentucky. If you didn't get to catch the segment live, I've linked it for you below! I was so nervous leading up to this interview that I didn't really tell anyone about it in advance! My plan was to just pretend it didn't happen if I said something stupid, tripped, or did something embarrassing during the interview! Thankfully none of that happened (I think) and I survived! Live TV is such an exciting challenge and before I knew it, it was already over! Thanks to the team at Midday Kentucky for giving me the opportunity to come on the show, and especially to Katie for being so kind and helpful with her interview. Also a special thanks to the gals at Hartley Social for setting this up and joining me behind the scenes today. Check out the full video + some behind-the-scenes photos below!
