This maxi dress is definitely one of my favorite finds of the spring! I first spotted it on two of my favorite local bloggers: Shelby of Glitter + Gingham and Melissa of Memoir of a Preppy Mom. I fell in love with the flowy silhouette and gorgeous Anthropologie-style print! When you see this dress in person and all the beautiful details, you won't believe it's under $30 and from Target! It's such a steal and such great quality for the price, plus the silhouette is so flattering on a variety of body types. This dress fits pretty true to size but I would recommend sizing down if you are trying to decide between sizes! I've linked all my outfit details for you to shop including my dress, sandals, + straw purse above + below!Read More
I'm still in denial that there's snow on the ground outside and I just can't bring myself to put a sweater on anymore! This sheer dress from Blush Box Co. is super unique and perfect for layering and transitioning into spring! It is kind of a jumper silhouette, so you definitely need to wear a top or slip dress underneath. I wore a bodysuit on top with leggings on the bottom underneath it. I have also worn it with a long sleeve tee on top without the cardigan/duster. I can't wait to layer it with a simple slip dress underneath for the summer too! This black, lightweight duster is a another great layering option for spring too and is so soft and comfy! You can shop all my outfit details above + below!Read More

Blush + ruffles + bell-sleeves + florals- these are a few of my favorite things, and this outfit just happens to have all of them! I love all the beautiful pastels and deep jewel-tones that are popping up this fall especially when a floral print is included. This skirt from Target has all that plus the cutest cascading ruffle detail (AND it's under $25!). I paired it with my favorite Free People sweater which I seem to wear with everything because it's just so comfy + flattering! I've linked all my outfit details for you to shop above + below!
Floral romper: c/o Shop Twenty Something | Wedges: TJMaxx (similar here) | Bangles: Vintage
I'm wrapping up my vacation outfits series with this gorgeous floral romper from Shop Twenty Something! I love the vintage-style floral print, soft colors, and the white is perfect for showing off a tan! It has elastic around the neckline so you can choose whether or not to wear it off-the-shoulder as well as a cute tie tassel detail in front. I especially love the ruffled detail on the shorts and the longer flowy sleeves which give this such a flattering silhouette! I've linked this romper (under $50) as well as the rest of my outfit details for you above!
It's been way too long since I last posted an update on the Amsden project. The past month has been nothing but plumbing and HVAC work which is mostly in the ceiling and below the floors, so there's not much to be shown as far as progress! So while that is happening I have been trying to focus on my vision and narrow down my design ideas for each space.
The retail shop takes up the largest portion of the building. It will be connected and flow into the coffee shop but also have the ability to be closed off so that they don't have to always be open at the same time. What you can expect from this space is an expanded version of the Miss Molly Vintage brand, Gather Mercantile, which will feature the best local makers + Kentucky made products mixed with vintage, antique, and reclaimed finds galore.
One of my ideas for this space is to have a fresh flower and plant bar. A space where you can pull from tons of vintage jars, vases, and planters and create your own custom arrangements in-store. I'm talking with a few local flower farmers and am hoping that we will have a variety of locally grown fresh blooms as well as a mix of faux stems, plants, succulents, and maybe even some wreaths and garlands too!
If you follow my projects and home decor, you know I am plant and flower crazy, so I felt like this passion just had to be included in my latest venture. We are planning to have a large open trough-style sink to anchor the space and give it that old-fashioned flower shop feel. Besides that I'd love to have layers of shelves and mismatched metal buckets and containers to hold all the stems, bouquets, and greenery. I've gathered up a few of my favorite inspirations for this space below. Let me know which are you favorite and what you would love to see incorporated into this space!
