Holiday Home Tour: Kitchen
The kitchen area is typically the last space that I decorate each year! We love to get a real tree to put in here, so we wait until after Thanksgiving.
Holiday Home Tour 2021: Classic + Neutral Modern Christmas Kitchen
Kitchens deserve to be decked out for the holidays too! I love adding some holiday cheer to my kitchen through the greenery, wreaths, and a real Christmas tree. This space always ends up being the most simple and neutral of my Christmas spaces but still has plenty of cozy touches throughout! Below you’ll find pictures of items from this space you can shop as well as similar items too!
Holiday Home Tour 2020: Kitchen and Dining Room
Next up on my Holiday Home Tour is our kitchen and dining room. There are SO many things I love about how this room turned out. The little black ribbon on the wreath about the fireplace was the inspiration that sparked the design for this room. I tucked real magnolia stems throughout both trees, and then tied on lots of different velvet ribbons in rich dark colors. Adding touches of real greenery to faux trees is one of my favorite design tricks! It helps fill out the trees and gives a richer, layered look.
Fall Home Tour 2020: Cozy Neutral Modern Farmhouse Kitchen
I’m wrapping up this year’s fall home tour with one of my favorite spaces in the house- our kitchen! Overall I keep this room pretty neutral but I am loving the addition of some pops of fall color throughout inspired by my new kitchen runner. I added a lot of faux and dried stems throughout as well as wreaths on the fireplace and window for simple pops of autumn texture and color. I also love accessorizing the open shelving in here too for each season. I’ve linked all my favorite pieces for you to shop below!
Fall Kitchen Tour 2019
I’m excited to share my newly refreshed fall kitchen! I recently stripped down this entire space- all wall decor and curtains, and have been moving towards a more modern and minimal style in here overall. I’m still wanting to update my rugs and a few other things, but I already am loving the updates. Along those same lines, I kept the fall decor in here very neutral and simple this year. Lots of black and white, mixing textures, and simple, natural accessories. I always love styling the open shelving and fireplace area in particular.
Our Fixer Upper: Spring Kitchen Updates
It took me a little longer than usual this year, but I've finally gotten all my winter decor packed up and am slowly freshening up my home for spring. The kitchen is one of the first areas I've focused on because it's so easy to add a few spring touches in here. A few bowls of fresh citrus like lemons, limes, and oranges are perfect for adding a pop of color on your kitchen island or on your countertops. I also like to have lots of fresh flowers everywhere. You don't even have to do a full blown arrangement, as sometimes just a few simple stems in a large jar can be just as effective. Finally I also brightened up my table settings with this amazing macrame runner and some simple white plates.
