Fixer Upper Friday: The Giraffe House

Well, I just about died over every part of last week's "Giraffe House" fixer upper.  Not only did I love getting to see some background on Chip and Joanna's first flips, but the design of this house was exactly my style and so eclectic.  I'm a huge fan of mixed and layered textures in design and this space was overflowing with them!  I also loved how Joanna mixed different styles in this space: a little bit of midcentury, global, and rustic modern elements were all included.  You can check out the amazing before + after below and find more photos of the entire house here.

It was so hard for me to pick just one favorite space in this house, but the one that most stood out to me was this stunning dining area.  Those brass pendants alone are enough to make me swoon, but the addition of the jute rug, rattan dining chairs, and round dining table make this room over the top amazing!  I love the ship-lap ceiling too and how it contrasts with the metals and more modern elements.  I've rounded up lots of similar light fixtures, rugs, + dining tables for you to shop below:

Everything about this room is completely unique but at the same time it feels so cozy and full of character.  I also love the addition of a bar cart in the corner with a simple mid-century round mirror above it.  The table is set with lots of simple and classic white dishes to add some brightness.  One of my favorite elements of the entire room are these rattan dining chairs that add so much texture and warmth to this table setting.  I've linked up lots of similar chairs, accessories, and bar carts for you to shop below:
