Today I’m sharing this recent guest bedroom makeover that I completed for a client this past week! We started with basically nothing except a plain bed and transformed the space into a cozy and layered bedroom that any guest would love to stay in. I think everyone covets that high-end and super cozy Anthropologie look especially in a bedroom, but not so much the price tag. I was able to copy the look for a quarter of the price using bedding and accessories from Target. Their new Opalhouse line in particular has a ton of Anthropologie inspired pieces. We also added these gorgeous nightstands and headboard from Wayfair which really anchor the room.Read More

I'm prepping for my fall decor and I've got all things autumn on the brain this week! I'm loving dark, moody, and unexpected color combinations for fall. Mixes of rust, indigo, olive green, and soft neutrals create a color palette that's super sophisticated, yet perfectly cozy for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Get inspired with my favorite inspirations of the week below!
This little vignette is all the inspiration I need for my fall decor. I love the colors, modern and clean feel, as well as the overall simplicity.
I'm loving this idea for dressing up your basic low pony, especially when paired with cozy laid-back sweaters and basics.
These metallic and chalk-painted pumpkins continue to be some of my favorite fall isnpirations each year. I love the unexpected colors and mix of matte and shiny finishes.
I'm loving these super modern, refined bedrooms lately overflowing with neutrals- especially with these metal canopy beds. This style is so cozy and perfect for fall and beyond.
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is just a few days from wrapping up but there are still SO many amazing home decor items still available! I was overwhelmed with the amount of bedding selection including basics like sheets, duvet covers, comforters, and bed skirts; but also decorative pieces like throws and pillows. To help narrow down all my favorite picks, I've divided them into four different bedroom decor categories: neutral boho, preppy chic, layered + cozy, and bright + bold. I've included a few inspiration photos for each decor style so that you can envision how all my bedding picks can work together to create a cozy + pulled together space. You can click on any of the photos to shop and see more details and pricing information! Hurry and stock up on all your favorites because prices will go back up on August 6th!

Our little guest bedroom is one of my favorite rooms to decorate for the holidays. I love being able to pile on the pillows, throws, and make the space feel super cozy and inviting. I haven't really gotten around to finalizing the decor in here and besides painting the walls and updating the light fixture, not much has changed since we moved in. We still would like to sand up the painted floors to see if we could restore the wood underneath, but for now I am working with the brown floors (at least it's not carpet!). Since the color scheme has stayed pretty neutral in here, I added some pops of pastel for Christmas; mostly because I just HAD to find somewhere to put my pink flocked tree! Over the years I have collected a lot of little pastel vintage Christmasy trinkets and this seemed like the perfect room for them. I mixed in lots of creamy knit pillows and gray tones too so that the pastels weren't too overpowering and juvenile feeling. The room felt a little bare before but with all the Christmas decorations it instantly feels more cozy + complete- who wants to come stay?!
