My Blush + Bashful Dressing Room Progress Update

If you’ve been following along, you know I've had a few projects going on around my house these last few months! I started working on My Dressing Room Makeover a little before I took on My Pantry for the One Room Challenge and refreshed My Entryway with a new paint color.

Although I still have some projects to complete in this space - I’m finally at a place where I can share some of the progress with My Dressing Room Makeover!

Since my last update, I’ve added this gorgeous rug from Safavieh, which perfectly coordinates with the wallpaper and adds a cozy texture and warmth to the space! The paint has been touched up all around the room, which for the walls is Art Deco Pink (Behr) and for the trim Noble Blush (Behr), from Wow One Day Painting (you can check out my review and get a discount code here!). I also completed my DIY dresser turned island project for the center of the room so that it was the perfect size for this space but still had the drawer space needed for the smaller clothing items/accessories that I needed!

Up next - I still need to complete the back wall by installing some IKEA built-in to store long dresses, add extra storage with some additional drawers, and some storage for purses/accessory with some shelves. Currently this space is about the same with my temporary clothing rack and a dresser but soon it will be transformed with a more permanent and built-in wardrobe look!

I also need to finish up the shoe closet! I plan to have a mirror mounted to the outside of the door and then add a frame around it so it look like a large leaning mirror (instead of a door!). I also need to finish the interior of the closet styling and organizing!

Although I still have some things to do - this has already become my DREAM dressing room! I will share the final room reveal once I finish it up, so be sure to check back!
