Gathered Play + Create: Summer Workshop + Classes Schedule
There are SO many fun things happening around Gathered Play, and I can’t wait to experience them all with you!
While we have some special events planned, every Wednesday you can find me at Gathered Play + Create for story time! This is totally optional and is included during your play session!
You can find each class/workshop listed below with a brief description! You can sign-up for the workshops/classes by clicking here! They are filling up fast, so be sure to secure your spot today!

Workshops + Classes
Come play and have fun with different sensory art activities geared towards baby and toddler ages! We will get messy and have fun with several different art explorations that are all easy and age appropriate! This will be a monthly class and each month will have different art activities!
This will be a monthly class - sign up for one time or both: Thursday 7/18 and Thursday 8/22 9-10AM
open to ages 3 and under!

This story time will be from 10-11AM. If you want to stay later or come early, please be sure to book a play session so we make sure we have room for you! Otherwise, you don’t have to book play sessions to attend these story times from 10-11AM, just sign up through the link
July 25th
Join us for a voyage under the sea where we will create a variety of ocean animal and beach themed artworks and creations! We will be using a variety of mixed media and learning several different art techniques for this class including painting, 3-d sculptures, gluing, cutting, and more! We will also read and learn more about the ocean and ocean animals along with each art activity.
Ages 4-7

We recommend parents drop children off for this workshop, but if you would like to attend with your child, please contact us so we can make arrangements for capacity accordingly.
July 29th + 30th
During this two-day interactive camp we will design and decorate our very own dollhouses from scratch! Each child will receive an unfinished dollhouse to make their own! On day 1 we will focus on painting the base of our dollhouse and decorating the exterior, adding “wallpapers” and patterns, and even floors! On day 2, we will focus on painting and customizing mini furnishings and decor for the interiors of our dollhouse! Each child will be helped and encouraged to create their own theme or design style for their dollhouse and can bring with them any items they may want to use, but we will have all the items needed to create either way! We will use a variety of mixed media for this class and learn several different art techniques including painting, modge podge, glue, cutting, and more!
Boys are welcome too- we can make it a dinosaur house, truck garage, super hero lair, or anything you can imagine!

Take a walk through the garden with us and create every step of the way! In this workshop we will complete several different art projects all focused on flowers, plants, and summer gardens! We will use and learn a variety of art techniques including painting, drawing, 3-d sculptures, and more! Join us for our very own garden party where we will create, make art, read, play, and learn all about gardens together!

Workshops + Classes
Use your imagination and create cardboard masterpieces big and small out of all recycled material! We will start buy creating individual small cardboard 3-D sculptures, and then we will work together to create one large scale cardboard house or building creation, and then decorate both using various art supplies and materials. Will you make a castle, house, spaceship, or your whole own world or town- the possibilities are endless!

We encourage parents to drop their children off for this event but if you would like to attend with your child, please contact us so we can make arrangements accordingly for capacity.
Enter a storybook world as we learn, read, and explore about our favorite storybooks, authors, and illustrators and then use this inspiration to create your very own storybook start to finish! We will be using and learning some drawing basics, coloring and painting, and then binding our books together with various materials.

Learn and explore the different mediums of painting including watercolors, acrylics, oils, and more! We will dive in and learn and explore each medium and even create some artworks combining multiple mediums together!
This camp is 2 days: 8/12 and 8/13 4-6PM

Join us to make and customize your very own set of paper dolls! We will imagine and design our own clothing and accessories for our paper dolls and bring them to life from paper to outfit! We will learn and use drawing and coloring skills, cutting, mixed media using fabrics, buttons, papers, and more!

Open up a whole new world of art exploration in our mixed media workshop. We will explore and learn a variety of art techniques like painting, 3-d sculptures, fabrics and textiles, paper, murals, and more! We will learn how to combine different art mediums to create unique and amazing artworks!

Craft your own potions and get messy with sensory science and art in this fun and interactive workshop! We will do several interactive sensory science activities and then end the class by mixing up our very own potions to take home!
Please wear clothes that you can get messy in!
