HOURS: MON-FRI 9AM-4PM // SAT 9AM-1PM // CLOSED SUNDAY FOR PARTIES

PAY: DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE + SKILLSET

A love for children, literature, community, & creativity is necessary to work at Play + Create.
Basic DIY skills such as crafting + creating are a huge plus!
You must fall within either of these categories:

Adult:

• 18+ years old

• Minimum of two weekdays available (8:30AM-5:30PM)

• Weekend availability (hours are flexible)

or High School:

• 16+ years old

• Weekdays available to close (after-school work program - 2:30PM or after - until 6PM)

• Weekend availability (hours are flexible)

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure our space is set up for children to play, explore, and imagine

• Check in guests and go over our policies, waiver requirements, and general information

• Take coffee shop orders accurately

• General cleaning and sanitization practices

• Use our Square POS system for checking out customers, adding + updating inventory, and handling payments

• Maintaining the play cafe space throughout the day so it is enjoyable for our guests

• Use our Acuity scheduling system to manage appointments + clients

• Answer the business phone and answer questions about our play cafe

• Follow a set of guidelines to communicate the Gathered brand to customers

• Read out loud to our guests during Story Times

• Follow a clean-up task list thoroughly and efficiently

• Work birthday parties, celebrations, events, workshops, + classes as needed (evenings + weekends)

• Comfortable learning how to take photo/video for social media content
