Warm + Cozy Guest Bathroom Refresh

We took this bathroom from cold and blank to warm and ready for guests! We painted the entire room - I’m talking walls, trim, and ceiling, with October Mist (Benjamin Moore). This color is a warm green, but it also has some very gray undertones, making it a perfect color for warming up this space! Next, we switched out the sconces and traded the mirror for the black version of the one the client already had in here. We also switched out the vanity for a slightly smaller and wooden one, which helped warm up the space SO much!

To stay within budget, we kept the chrome plumbing fixtures and added some black finishes! Don’t be afraid to mix; it can be a great way to add style without spending a lot of money!

Another money-saving hack we used in this space is we actually used regular curtains rather than a shower curtain! We lifted this curtain nice and high - actually using a rod that connected to the ceiling, to give it an elevated and luxurious feel without spending all the extra money! You want to make sure you get a liner long enough to cover the curtains - which you can easily find on Amazon (and I’ll be linking below!). I love doing this in bathrooms with high ceilings since your typical shower curtain usually comes at the standard 72'‘‘s and can make the room look choppy!

I really love how this refresh turned out! You can see the Moody + Cozy Bonus Room Makeover we did for the same client (they actually connect!) by clicking here!
