This super easy summer recipe combines some of my favorite ingredients: fresh strawberries, moist pound cake, and the most delicious lemon marscapone cream.  All the ingredients are amazing on their own but when layered up, the flavors and textures perfectly compliment each other!  I use a store-bought pound cake to make this recipe even easier, especially since you are going to be making the lemon marscapone cream from scratch.  I love to serve this in individual mason jars for a fun twist on the traditional trifle and a super cute, summery presentation!  It also makes it much easier to serve and transport to your party or event.  Find the full recipe here.

Even though I am not a huge popsicle or icecream fan, I AM a huge fan of cheesecake, so these were a winner in my book!  They are so rich and creamy, melt in your mouth, and the fruit adds the perfect amount of brightness.  I also love the little bit of crunch and contrasting flavor that the graham crackers add.  I can't think of a cuter dessert to serve at your memorial day cookout or pool party!  Find the full recipe here

These smell divine coming out of the oven and they taste even better!  The crumble topping is super buttery, and has a great sweet/salty taste combination that I love.  All the filling becomes super warm and melty which contrasts so well with the crunch of the crumble topping!  Overall I can't imagine a better summer dessert- super fresh and bright tasting and even better with a giant scoop of icecream or a glass of ice cold milk! I love the idea of serving these in mason jars which makes them perfect for gifting and sharing with friends and family!  You could even decorate the jars with different labels, tags, or ribbon-I used some twine to tie on a spoon and a wildflower. The cream is not overpoweringly sweet and you can really taste the rich cream cheese flavor.  It's the perfect compliment to the bright, slightly tart fruit and the soft, fluffy texture of the cake.  Truly the perfect summer dessert! If you’ve been following a while you know I love to cook, but hate baking (way too much math and science involved and I hate measuring). So when I need to bring a dessert somewhere and still impress, here’s my solution: the dessert board! This one’s even themed for Memorial Day festivities, but there’s a million different ways you could customize it! And the best part, no baking required! I seriously bought everything at Kroger and just cut a few things up! Arrange and you’re done! Yes, even the little flowers are edible too! I can’t think of a better way to eat dessert either, getting to mix and match and try bites of all the delicious things. Find the full recipe here.
