Weekend Wardrobe: Keepin' it Neutral

My wardrobe for the most part is really bright and colorful with lots of prints, thanks to a lot of vintage pieces I have collected through out the years.  Lately though, I have been stocking up on lots of neutrals and basics that are perfect for mixing and matching and have that great laid-back summer feel.  An all-neutral outfit just screams summer chic and is totally understated, yet unexpected at the same time.  Just about anyone can try out this trend with basics you already have in your closet (think a slouchy white tee or blouse, classic relaxed shorts, khakis, tans, and grays).  Keep the silhouette relaxed with nothing too structured or fitted, and don't be afraid to pile on some simple jewelry.
