Weekend Wardrobe: An Old Fashioned Christmas
I love dressing up for the holidays and have slowly amassed quite a collection of holiday-themed Christmas sweaters, sweatshirts, and jewelry over the years, most of them vintage. Some might reserve such attire for tacky Christmas parties, but I just like wearing them everyday! This little Christmas tree sweater is a prime example, it's just too festive and cute to not wear whenever I please. I dressed it up with a ballerina-esque lace and tulle vintage a-line skirt that is just screaming to be worn to every holiday party and festive plaid heels. I love the contrast of a super dressy skirt with a more casual piece like a sweater or tee. To top it all off I added one of my favorite vintage bauble necklaces that is perfect for the holidays with its red and green jewels.
