Weekend Wardrobe: The Flea Market Flare

It's official, overalls are my new obsession for fall.  Thanks to a tip from one of my friends I ordered these new "flea market flare" overalls from Madewell.  I haven't purchased any denim from Madewell before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am thrilled with the fit!  They look like authentic 70's flared overalls with a true high-waist cut (which is a major plus for me).  I'm tempted to order some more jeans from them now that I have a better idea of how good they fit and what wonderful quality they are!  I paired them with a classic white, long-sleeved boxy blouse underneath and a worn-in utility jacket on top.  If you don't have a utility jacket it's a must-have light-weight jacket for fall layering and you will find yourself wearing it with just about everything!  This one is several years old but still one of my most worn pieces year after year!  I added some chunky wedges and a statement necklace to dress up the look a little!  I can't wait to try these overalls with different outfits- what do you think I should pair them with next?

xoxo
