Holiday Home Tour 2018: Entryway
Today I’m sharing the next space up on my holiday home tour, my entryway. This space is always one of my favorite to decorate because of all the unique nooks and crannies and character of this space. I love to go for a winter wonderland look in here with tons of flocked trees, garlands, and wreaths and lots of white and neutrals. This year I added this giant chalkboard on the back wall with some lyrics from one of my favorite Christmas movies, White Christmas, which seemed fitting for the space. I also love the extra light and glow that these Christmas lights add to this back corner, which is normally kind of dark and bland. I’ve linked all my favorite decor items from this space below that you can use to recreate this look!
Christmas TV Schedule: December 6-13
Even though there’s a million ways to watch video content these days, I still love to watch all the classic holiday specials as they air live on TV. Below you can find a round-up of most every holiday TV special with the date, time, and channel it will be airing on. I’ve highlighted some of my favorites/ the most popular specials at the top of each day as well. Each week, I will post an updated schedule for the following week leading up to Christmas.
Holiday Home Tour 2018: Pantry
Today I’m sharing the next space up on my holiday home tour, my pantry! As usual the star of the show in here is the crimson tinsel tree and chandelier full of vintage ornaments. The deep color of this Christmas tree is so unique and I love the way the ornaments pop against it. This room is such a mix of rustic and glam so I love to play that up each year with the metallic ornaments, sparkly garlands, and plenty of gold! I don’t think I will ever get tired of this vintage chandelier full of vintage ornaments either! Most of these vintage ornaments were from my grandmother and I’m so happy to have them because they are each so unique, intricate, and beautiful.
Holiday Home Tour 2018: Living Room
’m kicking off this year’s holiday home tour with my favorite room of the house, my living room. Last year I started going with more neutrals and all-white for this space during the holidays and this year I continued with that theme. I also added in some more blush and pale pastels which I love. I usually do a real tree in here, but decided a flocked tree would fit even better with the overall colorscheme so I got this one from Wayfair (find more of my favorite flocked trees here). It is beautiful and great quality and a perfect size for this space. I also added a few new touches from Anthropologie like my faux fur tree skirt and mauve pom pom garland (shopping links below).
30 of the Best Artificial Christmas Trees + Where to Buy Them
Buying an artificial Christmas tree, especially online, can be quite a challenge. It’s so hard to tell what looks realistic, high-quality, and has all the features you are looking for from one small photo! Since I’ve purchased quite a few (i.e. WAY too many!) Christmas trees in my lifetime, I decided to do a round-up of all my favorites in 3 different categories. I’ve included traditional, flocked, and whimsical trees and they’re all great high-quality picks. My philosophy is that you can never have too many Christmas trees, so don’t be afraid to mix and match, or stray away from traditional styles. I have everything from flocked to colored to real to vintage style trees all throughout my home!

Easy Table Setting Tips for your Holiday Entertaining
I’m so excited to finally share this holiday table setting how-to that I worked on with the Southsider magazine and my good friend, Kayla Weber Nord. Kayla and I work together so easily and we were immediately on the same page with our vision. It also helps that each have a good collection of table setting materials to use and choose from! We wanted to put together a table setting that was neutral and classic enough for fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and beyond but also had a bit of holiday flair.
