Summer Picks from Amazon Under $30
Being a new mom, I’ve become even more obsessed and dependent on the convenience of shopping for anything and everything on Amazon Prime. Lately, I’ve even been taking a chance on ordering clothing through Amazon and so far have been pleasantly surprised at how much I’ve loved everything! The prices cannot be beat as well as the convenience of having it on my doorstep in just a couple days.
Colorblock Sweater Dress + Vintage Leopard Jacket
I had to be dressed up the ENTIRE weekend and at 36 weeks pregnant it was not exactly fun or comfortable. Thank goodness I found this Free People sweater dress- even though it was not maternity, it was so comfortable and made me feel somewhat fashionable and fall-ish! I knew that Free People would have a lot of options that would work for my super pregnant figure because their silhouettes always lean toward more flowy and oversized anyways. I was able to squeeze on my favorite vintage leopard coat on top (unbuttoned of course!) and I loved the mix of the stripes and leopard patterns! I know I’ll be wearing this dress even beyond pregnancy which is a huge win!
Bump Friendly Boho Dress
This dress is one of my favorite bump-friendly pieces I’ve found so far from online boutique, Wren & Ivory. Wren and Ivory has a whole collection of dresses and separates that are “bump-friendly” meaning they aren’t necessarily full-on maternity and you can easily wear them when you aren’t pregnant too! I love this concept since I’m not wanting to waste money on a lot of maternity pieces with only a few weeks left to go! I also like how they show you how the pieces look on models both pregnant and not pregnant so you can see how the fit will vary. The long sleeves, empire drawstring waist, and midi cut made this SO comfortable as well.
Layered Fall Maternity Outfit
I wanted to share this simple outfit to throw on for fall when you have a growing baby bump! Start with a solid bodycon dress and layer with an open oversized flannel over top, then add some sneakers and you are good to go! I loved the colors in this flannel from Target- it looks and feels vintage even though it’s brand new! It is perfect for wearing with jeans or wearing open and layering over a dress or simple tee. I sized up on this one for an over-sized look plus to accommodate this big bump! This simple tank dress isn’t maternity either but it has enough stretch that I’ve been able to wear it throughout my pregnancy without a problem.
Raspberry Midi Dress + Layered Crop Top
This simple linen blend midi dress from Target is another non-maternity dress that works great for both maternity and beyond. It can also be styled for summer and into fall with a few layering tricks. I love the idea of layering a top over it for a bit more coverage for maternity wear, but as it gets cooler out, it would also be great with a denim jacket or cardigan too! This black crop top is perfect for layering because you can adjust the front tie/ruching to make it longer or shorter. Shop all my outfit details with the links above + below!
Vintage Chambray Shirt + Striped Skirt
One of my favorite ways to switch up my vintage denim pieces for spring and summer is by adding fun patches! Using iron-on patches makes it so easy and there are so many different styles available online, Etsy especially. This cactus patches is one of my favorites and I've linked the exact patch I used above + below (it's just $5!). I paired my chambray skirt with a lightweight striped midi skirt and some of my favorite vintage leather flats. You can shop all my outfit details + similar vintage pieces linked above + below!
Denim + Sheer Spring Floral Blouse
We've getting peeks of spring here in Kentucky (but mostly LOTS of rain) and I could not be more ready for some sunny, warm weather! This time of year I'm all about bridging that gap between winter and spring with transitional outfits. This blouse from Gathered Mercantile vendor, Blush Box Co., is perfect for spring with the cutest floral embroidery details and sheer material. A denim jacket is my go-to for layering with lighter-weight spring pieces while it's still colder out. You can shop all my outfit details above + below!
