Succulent Workshop with Planthropy
Join Planthropy at The Amsden for an evening of fun and succulents!
Succulents come in an amazing variety of colors, shapes, sizes and textures. This special workshop will feature beautiful, hand-selected succulents with beautiful colors sure to brighten any room in your home or office. Come early to grab a delicious café creation at The Amsden Coffee Club or browse the unique finds at Gathered Mercantile.
During this succulent workshop, you'll learn how to care for these fun desert plants, when and how to water them, and how to propagate leaves so you can grow your own babies all while creating your own eye-popping succulent container garden.
Easter Egg Coloring at The Amsden
On Friday April 19th, we will be hosting an Easter egg decorating party for kid's at The Amsden! Just $5 per child to join in on the fun! You are welcome to stop by anytime between 5-7 PM or stay the whole time.
Please purchase tickets in advance (link at the bottom of this post!) so we can make sure we have enough space and supplies to accommodate everyone. We will provide all the supplies and treat bags for each child to take home!
Adults do not need to purchase tickets to attend with their child, unless they want to partake in the crafty fun as well!

Chalkboard Lettering + Design Workshop
Join us here at The Amsden to learn the art of chalkboard lettering + design! Do you have an old chalkboard at home that really needs some TLC but you just don’t know where to start?! Kenzie Spring of Not Just Spring Designs, will be giving tips and tricks to making the cutest chalkboard signs, teaching faux lettering while also providing attendees with her favorite tools to practice and continue learning the basics + more!
Valentines Crafternoon at the Amsden
Join us for an afternoon of Valentines crafting at the Amsden! Kids of all ages as well as parents/adults are welcome to participate! Kenzie Spring will be teaching us how to make Valentine’s Day cards as well as some easy hand lettering basics too! All supplies for the crafts will be included as well as treats + snacks!

January Handlettering Class at the Amsden
Come kick off the new year by learning the basics of handlettering at the Amsden! This intro class will focus on letters, numbers, + addressing envelopes! Kenzie Spring will teach us the basics of handlettering as well as how to embellish our writing with fun illustrations + additions.
All attendees will receive a packet of lettering practice sheets, pencils + erasers, 2 brush pens to take home, + envelopes!
Ceramic Tree Painting Workshop at The Amsden
Join us to paint your own vintage-style ceramic Christmas tree at the Amsden! This workshop will be hosted by local ceramic artist Jody Jaques. Paint your own 13" bisque tree and base! Christmas tree comes with a light kit that includes base light bulb, colorful mini lights and yellow star tree topper. Jody will then fire your bisque tree and it will be ready for pick up in 1- 2 weeks!
