Holiday Home Tour 2022: Master Bedroom
The last room in the Holiday Home Tour his year is the master bedroom! I always do these skinny Christmas trees here because they can fit anywhere! And of course — two are better than one! I have them flanking the bed, with a garland across the headboard, and I always add a wreath over the antlers.
I updated my bedding a little for winter but kept the main pieces the same. This year I added a different quilt - a green velvet one - which I really like with the colors of the rug. I also snagged these Christmas pillows from Ballard on sale and added the lumbar pillow from my shop and they paired perfectly with the flax-colored duvet that I already had from Pottery Barn!
I layer and drape some garlands and lights over one of my all-time great thrift finds - my ornate floor-length mirror! I don’t really decorate the trees in here, but I do add some beaded garland. This year I added some really fun orb lights on a continuous strand. I like the additional sparkle these add and they were such an easy addition! I’ll definitely be using them more throughout my holiday decor next year.
I also added a couple of wreaths and winter prints to my gallery wall (from my print shop!) and some tabletop trees to my dresser and nightstands.
While I didn’t decorate the master bathroom this year (I’m planning to add a tree in there next year!), I did want to note how the decor translates to our “new to us” bathroom! It flows well with the blues and greens. If you want to see more about how I transformed this bathroom, check it out here!
