Beautiful Home Organizing Challenge: How To Organize Your Nightstands
My nightstands are organized! Have you finished yours yet? I want to hear about your ideas and tricks in the comments below! I’m going to share the items I used to help me get organized and a few little tricks I picked up that were a game changer for my bedside organization! To help, break this up into a couple small tasks instead of trying to tackle it all at once like we did with the linen closet. I spent one block of time cleaning out and purging everything I didn't need and doing some preliminary organizing.
From there, you’ll be able to identify what you need and make a shopping list of organizers/materials to help you finish up (drawer dividers, caddies, etc.). Also don't forget to MEASURE your drawers so you can get the exact right sizes of organizers that you need! Check out more photos and shoppable links below!

First up, I'll show my nightstand drawer. I really only needed one organizing tool for this (but it's a good one). This lucite divider can be configured tons of different ways and helps keep all my random items looking neat and tidy! Just measure before you order to make sure it will fit in yours!
I'm pretty proud of this little nightstand charging station hack! You can do this with any kind of decorative box or basket that you can cut a hole in.
My husband helped me cut the hole with a hole saw bit on our drill but you could also use a spade bit or possibly a large drill bit depending on how big you need the hole. I needed a larger hole for my giant laptop charger but otherwise I could've gotten by with a much smaller one.
Now I can contain all my cords in one spot (as well as remotes) and close the top and hide everything when I'm not using it! It's also so nice to always have everything up off the floor for our robovac. Check out the last photos to see how I used these handy cord clips (linked below) to guide and organize the cords on the back of the nightstand too! This is something I've been wanting to do forever because it was such a mess before!
For my husband's nightstand I tried a few different things. He doesn't have as many items for the drawer but more items he needs out on top!
I found this charging dock/station on Amazon and there's lots of similar options/configurations available. It has a spot for just about everything he needs and keeps it looking somewhat neat over there. It seems to be working great so far!
I used wood organizers in his drawers (comes in a large pack, able to be mix and matched different ways) and I also did the cord clips on the back of his nightstand too.
