Beautiful Home Organizing Challenge: How To Organize Your Fridge
Fridge organization- check! Another space done on our organizing challenge!
As usual, I broke this process up into a few different steps. Step one-cleaning and purging. This definitely was the longest part of this particular organizing challenge because my fridge needed it badly. I had a ton of expired food that was taking up space as well as lots of crumbs, dried spills, and crustiness throughout. Really the only things I used were Mr. Clean spray cleaner (you can sub in any spray cleaner for this though), Dawn, a MAGIC ERASER, and a vacuum. It definitely helped to remove EVERYTHING from the fridge for me so I could really clean all the nooks and crannies. This also allowed me to scrub shelves and drawers in the sink.
Next I put everything back into the fridge, bit by bit, and kind of evaluated what pieces I was missing and what organizational items I needed to add. Above and below you can see more photos of the finished product!
A few things I recently added that Iβm loving: mini bamboo lazy susans, clear reusable ziplock bags, glass Weck jars in a few different sizes, and my glass tupperwares are my tried and true fave forever and ever. As you can see I used one lazy susan for dressings and the other for dairy products (butter, sour cream, cream cheese, etc.). I transferred my milk into glass milk jugs (kind of crazy I know but it keeps the milk SO cold and actually fresh longer too). I also used all glass tupperwares for any left overs, meats, and some cheeses as well as glass clamp jars for some fruit and veggies too. In the drawers I used a lot of the reusable clear zipper bags to separate items and easily stack them. The goal is to waste less and keep everything more visible!
You can shop all the products I used and see more photos below!
