Easy Grilled Steak Board for a Crowd with McCormick Grill Mates Marinade

Grilling season is upon us and there’s nothing I love more than combining a cookout with my love of charcuterie boards. I’ve put together a few steak boards before (like this one here) and they really are the perfect way to entertain in the summer! Everyone can share and create their own custom plate of bites and combinations that they love! The board I am sharing today is a super basic board featuring a grilled flank steak marinated in McCormick Grill Mate’s delicious Brown Sugar Bourbon marinade! Their marinades are so easy to use and definitely added some major flavor that took the steak up a notch! 1 package of McCormick Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon Marinade Mix

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup white vinegar

2 tablespoons water

2 lb. skirt steak

romaine lettuce

blue cheese crumbles

tomato

red and white onion

french bread

1 cup olive oil

feta

horseradish aioli dressing

1. Begin by mixing up your marinade according to package instructions (I added more vinegar to cut the sweetness).  Place steak in marinade and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or longer.

2. Slice both onions and chop romaine into big chunks.  Grill steaks on grill to your desired temperature.  Also grill romaine and onions, just slightly on each side to add grill marks.

3. Let your steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.  Slice steak and place at center of a platter or board for serving.

4. Surround with additional ingredients and arrange as your like (I used small bowls to hold the feta, blue cheese, and aioli).

5. optional: Toast bread in a skillet with 1-2 cups of olive oil on medium heat, flipping once golden brown.  Remove and place on paper towels to cool.

6. Share and enjoy!
