Festive + Easy Holiday Charcute-Wreath Board

6-8 ounces salami of your choice

4-6 ounces prosciutto

1 container cherry tomatoes

1 container green or mixed olives

1 container mozzarella balls, drained

Crostini crackers

1 jar sweet red peppers

1 jar pepperoncini

Lots of fresh rosemary, sage, thyme or basil for garnish or a mix

2 more cheeses of your choice (4-6 ounces each- I did gouda and pepperjack)

  1. Start with an empty board, platter, or tray. If you have a round tray, even better! Lay a sparse circular wreath pattern using about half of your fresh herbs around the perimeter of your tray.

  2. Next begin filling in with your largest items first (mine were pepperoncini and cherry tomatoes). Unlike most boards, you are just going to sprinkle all the ingredients throughout the wreath shape instead of placing them in piles.

  3. Make your way around the entire wreath shape with each ingredient, evenly distributing throughout. Some of the larger items you can cut in half or into bite sized pieces if needed. My cheese was already cut into cubes but if yours isn’t just cut it up into bite sized pieces!

  4. I placed the salami and prosciutto towards the end so I could accordion fold them up and then squeeze them in between ingredients to keep them in place.

  5. Keep filling in until your wreath shape is full without any of the tray showing through. I also added the crackers/crostini into the wreath too.

  6. Finish your wreath by adding some sprigs of herbs throughout the wreath (thyme works great for this) and then use the remaining herbs on the interior edge of the wreath to create a little border.

  7. For a finishing touch you can add extra bread/crackers in the center of your wreath or some small bowls of dipping sauces (mustard, olive oil, balsamic, etc.).

  8. Enjoy!
